Overview

The four-star hotel Diplomat is located in the diplomatic area near Prague Castle and offers 398 standard/superior rooms and suites. Handicapped room and non smoking floors are also available. The spacious Conference Centre with its 22 rooms has a capacity up to 1050 people and provides state of-the-art audio-visual technology, multimedia equipment and facilities for simultaneous interpreting. Bohemian and international cuisine is served at the restaurants �Loreta� and �CD Club� Caf� �Klimt� will pleasantly surprise you with a variety of coffees and pastries. The Relax centre with a beautiful view on the Prague castle offers massages, sauna, whirlpool, steam bath and fitness. In addition there is �Business Service Centre�, flower shop, hairdresser, Antique & souvenir shops, car rental, garage, concierge and exchange office. Amenities are airport transfer, banquet facilities, beauty salon/ hairdresser, business center, concierge, conference facilities, currency exchange, disabled facilities, doctor on call, dry cleaning, gift shop, gym/ fitness facilities, internet access-high speed. Internet access-wireless, laundry service, lift/ elevator, lobby, non smoking rooms, parking facilities-at cost, pets allowed, reception, restaurant, room service-24hrs, safe deposit box, secretarial services and tour desk.Early check out is subject to a fee of 100% of the total booking value of one night unless the Hotel has been notified by 15:00 o �clock one day prior to the new departure date. Moving around in Prague

The room was very nice. I had a problem with the resturant. There was too little non smoking space and at one occasion we had to breathe the smoke.

Do not waste money on taxis--public transportation is great! If you do not want to use public transport to & from the hotel, both the hotel and Grayline/Dvorak have shuttles available at a low price. We booked the latter via Orbitz and were very pleased with the service provided.
