Trip to London Fall 2009

Aej, 23 Oct 2009

The hotel was very nice and they had accommodated our request for adjoining rooms. The room was very comfortable and elegant and quiet. The location across from the Temple Tube was excellent,

Great stay but NOT a 5 star hotel.

TBB, 21 Oct 2009

Stayed for 7 nites. Fabulous River Views. Attentive staff took care of several "issues" in the room. Hated 19" old TV. This is NOT a 5 Star Hotel under any stretch of ones imagination. Maybe 4

Great central location and very convenient to the underground. Very helpful staff. Thought the restaurant was pricey and chose to eat at the numerous locations within walking distance.

Dining hint In Hotel

The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and so was the service, if expensive. Worth it as a cap to our trip to London on our final evening.

Money Savers Short walk from hotel

Directly across the street from Underground. It is so easy to take Underground from Heathrow and back. Takes about 1 hour. Can't beat that for price (4GBP) OR speed.

TBB, PALM DESERT, CA

Recreational Attactions Long walk from hotel

Just start walking and use your map!! You'll always find a pub that serves great food. You can buy one drink and sit at an outdoor table and watch the world go by - literally for hours - and it's fine with everyone.
