Our Gatwick 747 Flying Ladies G-VROS aka English Rose and G-VGAL aka Jersey Girl are now back in service, that's five down, two to go.

They've been away on a bit of a spa break, and are looking even better than ever, with brand new seats in Economy and Premium Economy, refreshed Upper Class Suites and a shiny new touchscreen inflight entertainment system in every class.

They're the fourth and fifth of seven aircraft to be given a complete revamp.

Three times daily from London Heathrow to Manchester

We’re happy to announce our forthcoming plans to fly domestic services from London Heathrow to Manchester Airport from March 2013.

This new route is the first time we’ve flown domestically within the UK, signalling the start of a new network providing us with a regional feed for our long haul services, as well as a much needed choice for passengers flying between the two cities.

    Hola Cancun!

We love a good party, so our recent Cancun inaugural flight was all the excuse we needed to dust off the Tequila, pull out the sombrero, and really show Mexico what the UK is made of. We’re now flying twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays from London Gatwick.

    Premium Economy meal service

Hot on the heels of our new Upper Class and Economy meal experiences, we’ve now launched an upgraded Premium Economy meal service. We’ve stuck with all the favourite bits, and added a few magical touches to make your journey even better.

    Even more Montego Bay

Our passengers love the sun, sand and fun of Montego Bay, so much so that we’re adding a third weekly flight from London Gatwick.

From 3 November, passengers will be able to enjoy a new Friday flight to Montego Bay, adding to our existing Wednesday and Sunday departures.

    We’re returning to Mumbai

We’re delighted to announce we’ll be returning to Mumbai on 28 October 2012 with a new daily flight from London Heathrow. Our new A330 aircraft will be operating the flight, offering our best customer experience.

There’s never been a better way to fly to New York

Introducing our new Upper Class Suite

The first A330 aircraft with our new Upper Class Suite is now flying on VS003/004 to and from New York JFK. It features the longest fully flat bed in business class, a new super recline seat, and a futuristic onboard bar.

    We’re such good sports

It don’t mean a thing if you ain’t got that swing, which is why Virgin Atlantic lets you take 23kg of sports equipment free of charge, in addition to our already generous baggage allowance.
