Fontanarossa Airport in Catania

The main airport that serves Catania, Sicily, Italy, is Catania-Fontanarossa Airport. It is the busiest airport in Sicily and is located about 2.6 miles away from the city itself. Alitalia, British Airways, KLM, and Lufthansa are among over fifty international, budget, domestic, and charter airlines that provide service to and from Fontanarossa Airport. Airport Ground Transportation

The twenty car rental companies that operate at the airport include familiar international ones as well as local firms, so you can rent a car as soon as you land in Catania or pick up the car you rented in advance via ebookers. You can also enjoy a ride in an airport taxi to central Catania or take the Alibus from the airport to various points in town for the cost of a regular city bus ride.
