London City airport is located within London itself, whereas the other four airports are located outside the city. Long-term parking facilities are available at all five airports, and it is possible to book parking in advance using each airport's website. The Docklands Light Rail service connects London City airport with the London Underground, and there are express trains from central London train stations to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports. The Luton airport trains are run by First Capital Connect and Eastern Midlands Railway, and they arrive at Luton Parkway Station. A free shuttle bus gets you from the station to the airport in about 10 minutes. The trains are convenient and fast, and the price for the express trains averages about £20.
All of the airports offer fast food and full-service restaurants as well as shops and boutiques for your convenience. You will find branches of British and international chains such as Pret A Manger and Krispy Kreme in the airport lounges, along with restaurants that offer gourmet meals. There are independent and chain coffee shops in each of the airports as well, so you can enjoy anything from a quick cup of coffee to a gourmet meal before you board your flight to Ibiza.

Visiting Ibiza Island
Your flight lands at Ibiza Airport, which is located about 4.5 miles away from the town of Ibiza. You can pick up a rental car at the airport and drive it to any of the towns located on the island, or you can take a shuttle bus for €3.20 to either the town of Ibiza or the resort village of Sant Antoni. Official taxis are available at the airport taxi stand, and prices are €0.98 per kilometre during the day and €1.20 for the same distance at night. There is also a surcharge of €1.65 for taxi rides from the airport.
Tourist season on the island of Ibiza is from May, when the average daytime temperature is 22°C, to October, when temperatures reach 23°C. The hottest months are July and August, with highs of 28 and 29°C respectively, and the coldest months are January and February, when low temperatures can dip to 7°C. July is the driest month, and October is the rainiest.
Famous attractions in the town of Ibiza include the historical Old Town, much of which has been declared a World Heritage Site as it features cathedrals, fortifications and other architectural structures that date back to the 1500s. Beaches are located within the city itself as well as just outside the city, and the marina area offers shopping and a taste of the famed Ibiza nightlife. Santa Eularia is also known for beaches and a relaxing atmosphere, whereas San Antonio mixes bars and clubs with hiking trails and opportunities for aquatic sports.
