Great hotel in San Telmo district

I would like to say that the staff in the front desk was very helpful. They did offer good suggestions for what I could do during my stay. My room faced the street the noise in the morning was not that bad. The cleaning staff really kept my room nicely cleaned and in a timely manner. My only suggestion for improvement is that the restaurant staff including the bartenders should try to be more friendly and less reserved because it can be interpreted as being cold therefore, one may not want to approach them

The place was really nice. Well worth the money. It was clean and the security guard is on call 24hrs. The bedding could be more comfortable but in general, u get what u pay for. [...] I still had an awesome time. Totally would book this hotel again!

this Apart Hotel is located in one of the Top areas of Buenos Aires. We travel frequently and always look for apartment settings versus the stuffy Hotels. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and we particularly enjoy making our breakfast in their fully staffed kitchens. We would recommend it to anybody!

We were two girls and wanted to stay at an economical hotel. We weren't thrilled by the adult store right across from the hotel, but the location was great. We were close to Florida where all the stores and shopping, as well as the hop-on/hop-off bus started off. It seemed a lot more lively than the areas which only seem to come more to life at night. The breakfast which came with the room rate was extremely good - loved the fruit choices and hot options. The front desk and concierge staff were also great & extremely helpful!

The hotel was quite comfortable and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The helped us visit the shopping and historical areas. They directed us to exceptional restaurants.
Not as luxurious as the Alvear but very close proximity in the neighborhood for dining.
Spa needs an upgrade.

Excellent staff who attempted to be helpful, no full time concierge present at desk. Desk staff was quite helpful to the best of their ability. Fitness center had one multifunction weight machine, which was broken. There was also one stair step machine and one treadmill. No laptop in room, two in lobby. Their was a working ethernet connection in the room which worked well with our laptop, so bring your own. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and staff was attentive and helpful. Bellman were curtious and helpful. Overall two thumbs up! Would return again.

Good price, comfort, computer availability, restaurant

This was a wonderful place to stay after an overnight air flight. All was well.
I love their care of my luggage even after I checked out . It stayed at the hotel another 7 hours. Safely.
When I returned from that 7 hours away, I really appreciated the nice , clean bathroom off the lobby to ¨freshen up ¨in before taking the luggage to the next round of the trip. When you no longer have access to a room, that bathroom off the lobby is a great blessing!
They readily gave out tourist info when asked too.
The room I had even had a little outdoor patio.
Ample space....they had a tub with the shower..
The only downside is that I could not find heat controls in the room and I was just a bit cool at night...I was tired, though, and not in the mood to try to tell the staff about it...next time I will....maybe the controls were somewhere on the air conditioner...
You can´t check in until 2 and, unlike the USA, there did not seem to be any ¨wiggle room¨ to get in a bit early....
The restaurant and the lobby are good waiting spots so I was fine. I was just anxious to crash in my room and missed the USA´ s hotels that often let us check in early.
I am going again there and just might make it my annual Buenos Aires hotel so I can get to know them and them me....always benefits to that...
Until I got there I did not know that there was a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance...it is in the city center and not far from the popular Calle Florida....

Hotel location was perfect. Able to walk to many amazing restaurants and sites. Very safe. We were two women alone and had no problems walking around after dinner at night. Staff the best. Room nice, clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet ok but needed more choices.

Fun, chic, stylish hotel in cool Palermo Soho. Perfect to experience the 'sugar and spice' that is Buenos Aires. Well located close to restaurants and shops, intimate and friendly, typical Buenos Aires style... Breakfast can be better, but then this is a city better known for dinners than breakfasts!

We loved this hotel. The location is great (in the bohemian Palermo Soho neighborhood), the staff was extraordinarily helpful (they booked us airport transfers, dinner reservations), and the room and breakfast were first rate. The hotel is chic in its design but the staff were all friendly.
The only downsides: Our room was small, and the hotel doesn't have a fitness center. That said, there's no reason to spend much time in the room (we were out exploring Buenos Aires), and there's a gym around the corner that you can use for a small fee.

This hotel has a fabulous location right on Florida Street (by San Martin Plaza). It is also centrally located within Buenos Aires, making it easy to reach all the interesting neighborhoods.
There was one glitch in the reservation (I booked 1 room for 4 adults via Orbitz, but the hotel firmly told me they wouldn't honor that because it is not their policy to allow 4 adults in one room). One call to Orbitz quickly resolved that problem. As an aside, most hotels in Buenos Aires don't allow 4 adults in one room (even if two of them are grown children, as were ours).
The hotel reservationist spoke passable English.

Hotel muy confortable, y de buen gusto. Lo unico que no esta al nivel del hotel es el personal de recepcion. Que a pesar de ser muy atentos no saben manejar el tema de las reservas y uno pasa un mal momento. en general el hotel es muy bueno!!!!

Nice, clean hotel in a good area of Buenos Aires for shopping or site seeing. Florida Street, one of the main shopping areas of the city is only a block up the road and an easy walk.
The staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful.

Small fairly modern hotel located in downtown not far from the bigger hotels. Great location to all the tourist locations and great shopping close by. Gets lonely after 8pm, but the guide books say be careful anywhere in Buenos Aires after dark. Rooms are modern but compact;breakfast included in price.

Great boutique hotel in Recoleta

Great location in Recoleta about two blocks from cemetery. Very professional, friendly, and helpful staff. We stayed in a Superior room which had a great patio that was rather large. We stayed in this hotel and another in Palermo Soho. Because of dining and shopping in Palermo, we'd spend more time in Palermo than Recoleta if we went back. But this is the hotel we'd go back to in Recoleta.

The room was comfortable, the staff was knowledgeable and always willing to help, and the location can't be beat.
The only negative is that the walls seemed a bit thin and as such we could hear some noise from adjoining rooms. Also the building next door was having some type of construction during our stay, but that's not CasaSur's fault.

Very good location. Clean and comfortable. Staff spoke good English and was helpful but not thorough. We were given info. about train schedule that was not very accurate. Overall we had great time and can go back there in future.

Melia Hotel personnel services were magnificent, from calling taxis to the door to shoe shinning. They booked our night out at La Ventana Tango Show, at which we had great sitting. We booked two rooms which were confortable and adjacent to each other. This was perfect since we were traveling with a 3 years old. Rooms, bathrooms, and the hotel overall were super clean. Breakfast was plenty and service extremely organized. I will recommend this hotel to my friends.

This hotel is small but nice, with a great location in Palermo Hollywood (walking distance to many restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.) Our rate included free breakfast, which was very good, and the hotel staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, making reservations, etc. The free access to the two internet-connected PCs in the lobby was handy as well.

The hotel was terrific - located in a wonderful area of Buenos Aires, Palermo Hollywood. The hotel is technically in Palermo Hollywood, though 2 blocks away from what is technically Palermo Soho. It is very close to a ton of terrific restaurants, bars, and boutique stores that are really nice to visit. The area itself is home to a lot of unique street art (graffiti) too. The hotel itself is actually located on the same street as one of the more famous (though a bit touristy) Argentine Steakhouses, La Cabrera and super close to many of the other stores, restaurants, and bars listed in many travel sites, books, guides which is nice.
The hotel itself is a nice boutique hotel. The staff speak perfect English and are very knowledgeable and helpful to the different activities and sites. The hotel also has an art gallery in the back which is really interesting.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody.

Although I am a frequent guest at this hotel, this time, it seems there is a new management, therefore nobody knew who I was, on check in, I had to wait almost 3 hours to get a room, then starting this week, they started charging for internet access, they told me there is a free option still, but when i tried to access internet from my room, the system was not working. Overall I was very dissatisfied, it's time for me to look better options.

Beauty is only skin deep

Concierge desk, particularly [...], was wonderful. Service in general was good. However, the maintenance in the hotel was pitiful. The hallways were dirty and in dire need of paint. Floor 7 hallways looked like a flophouse. It is sad to see such a beautiful building become so neglected. How could Marriott keep it under their umbrella? I could only recommend this hotel based on the location.

I liked the hotel as it is very quiet and central. The service and the staff are very helpful, they even try out speaking english even though I have difficulty with my spanish. Bar staff and desk staff are very nice and attentive. I would definately recommend or come again myself as I have been in the last few years.

Hotel was very well located, clean and basic rooms with good deco. WiFi Internet worked well. Free Breakfast was OK. If you plan to go there just to sleep this was a very good option for the price.

A senior, traveling alone, I stayed here three times during my 7 week stay in South America. Clean, comfortable, conveniently located. Exceptionally friendly, competent and helpful staff. Tasty and adequate breakfast.Close to metro, Teatro Colon, government offices, shopping & restaurants. Fairly priced. If one doesn't require luxury, this is one I'd recommend to anyone planning to visit Buenos Aires for business or pleasure.

Hotel typical of most small SA independant hotels , rooms OK, clean enough, old sheets and towels but this is normal for SA. The desk staff is wonderful, very helpful with tips for restaurants and checking information on anything you need. The breakfast is fine, decent choices, only issue was problems with the coffee, which was hot one day and barely warm the next. The location was ideal, close to the casa rosada, the port, Florida street and the Metro.

Service and staff was excellent, they were helpful in checking in and out, and very friendly even to those of us who don't have the best "spanish" skills.
The room was excellent, very clean and well kept.
The sundeck and pool have an excellent view, though it was surprising that the pool was a little chilly and there was no spa to sit out and enjoy the view in the fall chill.
Overall an excellent stay, though a little pricey compared to some other places in the area.

The hotel is nicely located in a safe area of Buenos Aires.
The rooms are large , clean, practical, so is the bathroom.
The only problem surprisingly enough was the poor service. Nobody seems to care neither at the breakfast lounge (8th floor) nor at the registration counter (nobody at the executive floor check out at 4:00 pm!! and more than 25 minutes wait at the check out in the main hall!!).
Next to this, this hotel is fine and can easily be recommanded

When you put together airlines & hotels "YOU" SHOULD make sure to specify what's the check-in & check-out time so that your clients can choose a flight accordingly. I arrived at 11:00AM to my hotel and have to wait til 2:30PM to get a room. The stay was pretty pleasant, except by the cost of use of internet, and other items. At the check-out time I was practicaly kicked out at 12:00 noon "sharp" even when my flight was at 8pm, with the reason that they were busy, or was it because all was paid in advance and they had nothing to loose by kicking me out?. I found that that's a big limitation and risk your clients have by buying with you; since everything is paid for, I have found, hotels and car rentals don't give much of a s...t as when the reservation is still pending to be paid and the guess have the possibility of moving to a nicer, kinder and more considerate hotel..!. Think of that.
