Area description
Hotel is located at walking distance to Socledad Rural Argentina (Convention Center), Zoo, most fashion designer shops.

Ten minutes by car to Recolets cementery, Paseo Alorta Shopping Mall, National Fine Arts Museum, Polo Field, River Plate Stadium and Public Golf Course.

Twenty minutes by car to San Telmo neighborhood, Florida Street, Puerto Madero neighborhood and Plaze de Mayo (May square)

And half an hour to La Boca neighborhood and Boca Juniors stadium.

In the most "trendy" neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Palarmo Soho, at meters from Plaza Julio Cortazar. In spite of the continuous cultural movement of the area, the paved streets of aged trees, the old sidemlks and low houses that still have their wood porch and windows with shutters, it keeps the enchantment of that quiet neighborhood that was once.

Best fashion designers, clothing shops and art galleries are right in this area.

The stay at the hotel was very good. Room is small (not really worth the high price for the Classic room) but clean and cozy. Breeakfast is very good with plenty of choises and staff is very well educated and trained. Overall rate is very good. Just one bad note, regarding the chief of the reception (Guillerme). He was not gentle at all.

Go to Quimbombo to have brunch and happy hour. Ask for a table in the terrace in a sunny day. Best Japanese - Paru (in Palermo Hollywood).

Stylish Buenos Aires at it's best

Fun, chic, stylish hotel in cool Palermo Soho. Perfect to experience the 'sugar and spice' that is Buenos Aires. Well located close to restaurants and shops, intimate and friendly, typical Buenos Aires style... Breakfast can be better, but then this is a city better known for dinners than breakfasts!

Great hotel, great location

We loved this hotel. The location is great (in the bohemian Palermo Soho neighborhood), the staff was extraordinarily helpful (they booked us airport transfers, dinner reservations), and the room and breakfast were first rate. The hotel is chic in its design but the staff were all friendly. The only downsides: Our room was small, and the hotel doesn't have a fitness center. That said, there's no reason to spend much time in the room (we were out exploring Buenos Aires), and there's a gym around the corner that you can use for a small fee.

La Cabrera -- a steak house just a few blocks away -- should be on everyone's itinerary. The food is superb, the portions are large, and the price is low.

Great stay!

Great hotel with knowledgeable and friendly staff. We liked staying in Palermo Soho, a trendy neighborhood -- we stayed at another hotel in the neighborhood and liked Mine better. Highly recommended!

Great stay at Mine Hotel

Our stay at Mine Hotel was great. Friendly staff (for the most part), and nice rooms. The hotel is located in a hip part of town, though it is a good distance from the main tourist spots. However, you'll find great restaurants and shops nearby and taxis are dirt cheap. Subway is about 1 mile away.

Beautiful, friendly, great location

This hotel was just the right size for us. It was large enough to offer all the same amenities of the large chain hotels, but all the intimacy and personal touches of a bed and breakfast. The front desk staff was knowledgeable, offering great restaurant and bar suggestions and helping us navigate the city. The whole hotel is beautifully designed. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor seating near the pool.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Palermo has lots of wonderful dining choices, from hip and trendy to classic Argentinian parillas. But restaurants seem to come and go quickly. We found that a few of the guide book suggestions no longer existed. We had better luck with the hotel staff suggestions or just walking around the neighborhood.
