LOCATION - The Recoleta is Best location in town. 5 minutes by taxi from the downtown and a lot of shops in the Alvear Avenue. The Building is a true Palace, very traditional property with an European decor. SERVICE - Committed and friendly staff are very observant of guests needs Butler service/amenities Hermes de Paris/Egyptian linen/ fresh flowers and fruits /daily turn down service with complimentary bottle of water. RESTAURANTS At L Orangerie the best buffet breakfast of Buenos Aires is served, cost usd 35, per person. Buffet Lunch and High Tea are other two options we recommend to our guests at L Orangerie Restaurants. The Lobby Bar is a very good place where you can have an apetizer or have a drink. La Bourgogne, our French International Cuisine Restaurant, offer our guests the possibiliy of enjoy lunch or dinner.

Traditional grand!

The Alvear represents everything elegant and traditional of a grand luxury hotel but with modern amenities. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite and were allowed early check-in. Very comfortable beds and a butler on each floor to satisfy every need of each guest. Wonderful spa!

Fantastic!

This hotel was TOTALLY worth it. The rooms look a little outdated online and so I was a bit nervous but they were gorgeous in real life. The brunch the next morning was amazing and the setting could not be any more perfect. The staff was so friendly and gave us a REALLY late check out since our flight was so late that night. The bar looked like something out of a movie and the bartender was fantastic.
