Stolen IPad
Originally gave good review but we left our baggage in the hotels secure? baggage area only to return several days later and find my wife's iPad missing from her suitcase. Staff was quick to point out the back of the ticket saying they were not responsible. As best we could tell they did nothing to try and determine what happened which is very discouraging as only there staff have access to this room-Beware!

Good stay
We stayed one night on the way to Antarctica. Hotel is close to Florida street, for shopping, we also walked to Recoletta. We like walking so it was not a problem. Friendly staff.

Location Excellent
Overall clean, great staff and excellent breakfast. Carpet was clean but loose in places and curled up a little. Did not dimish experience.

Not the London Claridge
Location is central. A little bit threatening at night as the street are empty and narrow. Good value for the price.

Centrally Located, Very Helpful Staff
We had a very nice stay at the Claridge Hotel. All the concierge were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There was one concierge who worked in the evenings who was most caring and advised us not to take the street going south in the night. Although the street was quite safe, we could understand his concern for us as the street gets very deserted.... The hotel has an old-worldly charm about it. The best part is, it is so centrally located - so close to the famous Florida street with lots of great shopping so close to the hotel, including the Galeria Mall. The Buenos Aires Bus open-top bus tour office is just about 10 minutes away and we would walk there everyday. The hotel was very accomodating for a late check-out. We even left our luggage for 2 nights when we went to Iguazu Falls. All in all - a nice stay. We will definitely stay there again!!

Buenos Aires is a city where you need to walk a lot to really enjoy it. The Buenos Aires open-top bus tour should only be taken on the first day to see and identify the places where you wish to go back again.on your own. All in all, a avery beautiful city!! Worth visiting again and again!!!

Staff was wonderful & pleased to help. Room was small, desk chair or beds only to sit on. Filthy carpet needs to be replaced. AC not cold.No fitted sheets so beds always messy. All else great, location, nice breakfast. Very accomodating re early/ late check in/out.

Old hotel with drab room and slow elevators. Great breakfast buffet and super location, near El Teatro Colon and great shopping on Florida street.
