Melia Recoleta Plaza Boutique Hotel

The hotel was quite comfortable and the staff was very courteous and helpful. The helped us visit the shopping and historical areas. They directed us to exceptional restaurants. Not as luxurious as the Alvear but very close proximity in the neighborhood for dining. Spa needs an upgrade.

The hotel was very well-situated, and all of the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa was a great bonus, too. Our room was very comfortable and quiet (the ones on the street side tend to be a bit noisier), and the high speed internet connection was excellent. (The wifi only works in the lobby and public areas, so if you only have a smart phone, that could be a problem.) We will most certainly stay there again and recommend the Melia Recoleta Plaza to any friends heading for Buenos Aires.

Excellent staff who attempted to be helpful, no full time concierge present at desk. Desk staff was quite helpful to the best of their ability. Fitness center had one multifunction weight machine, which was broken. There was also one stair step machine and one treadmill. No laptop in room, two in lobby. Their was a working ethernet connection in the room which worked well with our laptop, so bring your own. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and staff was attentive and helpful. Bellman were curtious and helpful. Overall two thumbs up! Would return again.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was nice with a comfortable bed, the bathroom was clean and modern, the breakfast buffet was huge and delicious. The staff was great...they brought our bags to and from our room, made dinner reservations for us, gave helpful information about the city, and spoke very good english. They even offered for us to return to the hotel after we had checked out that morning to shower in the spa prior to going to the airport for our flight home. [...] this is a beautiful, quaint hotel in a wonderful part of town with plenty of cafes, bars and shopping within walking distance.

Excellent location, friendly staff, great breakfast buffet and very clean rooms...it doesn't get better than that!

Hotel is nice however, the room was noisy due to being underneath the spa as well as the surrounding area. Service from concierge as well as the help overall was very good. I would not however go back to this property

I went to BA to attend a wedding and this hotel came recommended by someone from BA and on all the websites I researched. Definitely agree with all who recommended! Great location in very conveniently located and safe Recoleta. I'm a single woman and was traveling alone and felt very comfortable in the neighborhood late at night. I did basically take cabs everywhere I went because they're so cheap, but still... very nice rooms, great shower with lots of pressure and hot water. Nice toiletries, big towels :-) Turndown service w/ chocolates and where they closed the blinds. Very nice to come home to late at night. Comfy bed, duvet, and pillows and overall great service. Everyone was very friendly and always willing to help. Never got any attitude from anyone. Great that bfast was included to and it was served until 11am! Great for those of us who like to sleep in on vacation! I'd definitely stay here or at another Melia hotel again!

O Hotel é muito bem localizado, o staff é excelente e o café da manhã é nota 10. Os quartos tem um bom tamanho, com uma pequena sala com um sofá e uma poltrona. Há um menu de travesseiros com opções para todos os gostos e necessidades. A única questão que me chamou a atenção é uma falha no isolamento acústico dos banheiros adjacentes, que permite que se escute no outro apartamento quando se liga o chuveiro ou a descarga do banheiro ao lado - mas este detalhe não compromete o Hotel, e eu definitivamente retornaria a este hotel no futuro.
