Own Palermo Hollywood

This hotel is the place to stay at in Buenos Aires, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is great. Will stay here again if we are back in Argentina. Thanks guys great job!!!!!

The hotel was terrific - located in a wonderful area of Buenos Aires, Palermo Hollywood. The hotel is technically in Palermo Hollywood, though 2 blocks away from what is technically Palermo Soho. It is very close to a ton of terrific restaurants, bars, and boutique stores that are really nice to visit. The area itself is home to a lot of unique street art (graffiti) too. The hotel itself is actually located on the same street as one of the more famous (though a bit touristy) Argentine Steakhouses, La Cabrera and super close to many of the other stores, restaurants, and bars listed in many travel sites, books, guides which is nice. The hotel itself is a nice boutique hotel. The staff speak perfect English and are very knowledgeable and helpful to the different activities and sites. The hotel also has an art gallery in the back which is really interesting. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody.

The staff is very nice and helpful, kept our luggage after we left the room, served us nice coffee. Room is modern and beautiful, so is bathroom. Breakfast is excellent and very wholesome ( mezza luna, croissants,jam, fruit salad, fresh OJ and coffee.) The neighborhood has plenty of good restaurants, we tried Grappa, an Italian, and Osaka, Peruvian-Japanese but there are many other choices.

This hotel is small but nice, with a great location in Palermo Hollywood (walking distance to many restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.) Our rate included free breakfast, which was very good, and the hotel staff was very helpful with directions, recommendations, making reservations, etc. The free access to the two internet-connected PCs in the lobby was handy as well.

Noisy because there are a lot of grooming of old buildings and building of malls across the street

The hotel is a great value and probably a very nice hotel for Argentine standards. We were upgraded to a deluxe room with a balcony...but we would have never paid for it since the balcony is just concrete overlooking more concrete. The hotel has only been open a year but the building itself seems to have been there a while. There is currently construction directly across the street and the walls are very thin....anytime anyone in the building turns on the water or flushes the toilet you can hear it. Overall though it was a good value for the money. The subway is about a 20 minute walk...very crowded and hot...we ended up mainly taking cabs b/c you can get just about anywhere in town for about $5 US.

Arrived to find no power at all throughout the neighbourhood. Rolling blackouts not uncommon in BA, so should be something they are used to dealing with. Was helped to carry my bag to the 5th floor via the stairs which were had about one candle per floor and were really quite dangerous. The staff seemed not to have any torches either. Only saw one emergency light illuminated in the entire stairwell which would make escape in an emergency almost impossible. No candles or alternative lighting were provided in my room. The room was quite pleasant, but the service doesn't live up to the appearance.
