Great location!
The holiday inn is located in the palm beach area and within walking distance to many shops, restaurant, and entertainment. The view from the room wasn't the best, but staff, location, and value made up for it!

One Happy Island
Upon arrival the hotel appeared to be very clean and the staff very friendly and accomodating. After my first night when I tried to have a nice hot shower I did not find the water better than lukewarm.The rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff is on top of things. Was an issue when it rains there were leaks within the hotel. I did not do all-inclusive pkg and found things to be expensive but so is everything else on the island. All in all the hotel was quite adequate as my only time spent there was to sleep. It has a nice beach and swimming pool area. I did use the fitness room and as it seems with any hotel I have ever stayed at some of the equipment was in disrepair. Always seems to be maintenance issues in large hotels.

Fair for the money.....
Rooms were fair at best. Old furniture, bit of a musty odor. Really needs upgrading. Too many iguana running around the pool area. AND they're very messy.

Great location. Hotel is right on the beach and there are plenty of shops and good restaurants right accross the street. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definetely stay there again.

Take a cab to the local super market and load up on beer, soft drinks, and snacks for the beach. Keep them in your room. You'll save alot of money.

Inexpensive on Palm Beach
My wife and I have stayed here numerous times. The rooms are adequate, and the staff is very accommodating. Excellent location with many things to do. Full access to the best water sports on the island. Walking distance to many good restaurants, night life and casinos. No need to get a rental car for here. Lots to do and see.

Location, location, location!
this hotel is not perfect....but it is in a perfect location so it is well worth staying here. I have stayed twice and would book again. the problems...well, annoying but not worth giving up this location. One elevator was not working for a day...had no water for a few hours one day in the night. but, the beach, is awesome, the staff incredible - it is within walking distance of everything - stay here, you will not be sorry.

except for the airport transfer, walk or take the bus everywhere. the bus is less than $5 round trip for two to Oranjestad. but unless you want some expensive shopping, stay within walking distance. lots of food, shopping, entertainment, casinos right there.

Great family vacation
We were very pleased with our stay here. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was great and it's within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. They had a dance show that we enjoyed, Bingo, kids activities, etc... We would definitely stay there again!

We didn't do the "all inclusive" package, as we liked trying all of the different restaurants in the area. Some of our favorites were: Smokey Joes, Senor Frogs, & the Amuse Bistro @ the Playa Linda Resort.

Great Location, Front Desk Needs Help
Front desk staff are slow, act like they have no concern for you, and do not offer any useful information. Hotel has a great location for foot travel to shopping and restaurants. Parking is close, easy, and free. Rooms are very clean, maid service was great.

6 days in Aruba
They upgraded our room when we arrived to be an oceanview which was nice and on our second night we returned to the room to find a complimentary bottle of champagne. Staff was nice and the room clean. The pool leaves alot to be desired. What they call the kids pool is actually all one pool divided by a small walk way. The adults get the average side while the kids get the side with the waterfall and the fountains, which was the part I was most excited about. Beach was nice but so close to the water sport pier that the water is always churned up.

holiday inn vacation
the hotel "c”.section is closed..they are doing renovations..which i like to add..def..needs it..i walked around tothe other hotels..and they are just on another level...compared to the holiday inn..the kids liked it for a couple of days..then got bored...I've been here for a few years in a row..and i have to agree..the place needs to remodel...needs a bigger pool..another kids pool...a game room...and stop charging..those who don't have the all inclusive..15%..to everything you purchase...and tax...come on...we are all there on vacation....not there to get ripped off...its really tacky...
