Great small hotel - Amazing beach location

We love the Manchebo. We've stayed there all three times we've been to Aruba and will be staying there again for our wedding. It isn't the fanciest hotel, but the rooms are newly redone and it is on honestly the best stretch of beach in Aruba - and that's saying a lot.

Relaxful couple getaway

My boyfriend and I wanted a restful vacation. We decided on Manchebo beach resort and found just that. It was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space between you and other couples. The beach was fantastic, the on site Resurants were delicious. There is plenty of tiki huts so no need to get up early to get one. Loved it!

Great find, best beach

We absolutely fell in love with Aruba and the Manchebo Resort was perfect for us. We selected Manchebo after reading the excellent reviews and are glad we did. The beach at this hotel is the best and not crowded at all. If you like smaller, more laid back hotels, where you can get to know the staff and guests during your stay, this is the perfect place, as we met so many fantastic folks. [...], the bartender was terrific, be sure to check out the Happy Hour! The rooms were recently renovated and very nice and clean. We had a beach view from the upper floor which was nice and private, but the first floor rooms are nice too if you like to be able to walk right out to the beach. We did not do the "all inclusive" option, as we wanted to be able to experience so many of the fine restaurants in Aruba, but both of the restaurants on site are very nice if you want to save money by going that route. We did a couples massage at the spa that was also excellent. If you prefer a hotel with alot of nightlife in it and nearby, then stick with the high rise section, but we prefer this laid back, less crowded hotel.

We rented a car only 2 days while we were there and fully recommend this in order to experience the entire island. Car rental is easy, right at the hotel desk you can get a car immediately. For unique souveniers, drive to the Rum Reef restaurant at Baby Beach, where there is a little souvenier shop called Chakaranda. We had some beautiful hand made wall placques made out of driftwood that was very inexpensive.

Absolutely beautiful.

Quiet, gorgeous, and stunning. This was our first time in Aruba, and we felt like we were in a travel brochure (in a great way)! All of the staff are so friendly. Activities included: sunning and relaxing for hours, devouring tasty food, swimming in the warm, gentle ocean, and taking in the colors of the ocean and sunset every day and evening. We came for a wedding, and it could not have had a more relaxing, intimate vibe or been more picture-perfect. We had a wonderful time and would go back in a heartbeat!

Breakfast at the resort can be a little expensive, so try Dushi Bagels as a good alternative, just a short walk away. Yummy bagels, juice, and our last day there they also had empanadas and a nice banana bread, all locally-made.

Manchebo Resort

First, and most important, the staff and employees of Manchebo were very friendly and helpful. They were accomodating. Always smiling. They were quick to answer any questions. The resort is outstanding. The rooms are very nice, comfortable, and cozy. I love the ceiling fan. Talk about a breeze!! If I ever get the chance to return to Aruba, I will stay at Manchebo again. It was quiet, tranquil, and it has the best beach. Lots of room on the beach. Food was delicious. Service was great.

Good not great.

We stayed at manchebo, just got back actually today. That hotel had its pros and cons. Pro is great beach area, not crowded at all and beautiful. However if you go off the [...]pictures you will be slightly disappointed. Also some people said that the staff makes all the difference, not true they were not really all that friendly. The restaurant ladies all seemed to be in horrible moods almost always. We did stay at hotel much aside from sleeping and hanging out on the beach. We actually liked the Hyatt and hung around that area a bit, their staff was much friendlier. Definitely would not stay again. On a positive note, they had an awesome grouper fish sandwich at the beach cafe.

Perfect Eagle Beach location

Manchebo is the perfect place for a relaxing beach vacation. It is located on the best part of Eagle Beach, and we were always able to get a spot under the palapas late in the morning. Alhambra casino is right across the street, and great restaurants are either a short walk or a short cab ride away. We'll definitely return to Manchebo.
