We can not fault The Byron At

We can not fault The Byron At Byron Resort & Spa at all. My husband and I had the most relaxing, welcoming stay we have ever experienced, the only problem was we only had 3 nights there. The food was amazing, the staff with no exception were wonderful, friendly and welcoming. We actually met the manager who came and talked to us and bought us a bottle of wine. Sitting out on the decking was an experience we cant wait to do again. The rooms were stunning and there cleaniness was faultless. We will be returning hopefully in the next 6 months, definitely before the end of 2011.

Brilliant location and design

Brilliant location and design in rainforest. An experience which is added to by the friendly professional staff and great food. Oddly coffee tea and bread options at breakfast are ordinary - all the rest is exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Recommended.

We are returning guests to this

We are returning guests to this hotel this being our third time there. Its a fantastic place to relax and unwind, the lovely rainforest trees around the whole complex give a sense of tranquility. Our highlight is the complimentary yoga every morning lead by a very good teacher Sheldon. The restaurant offers very good food with fresh produce. We will definitely be going back again sometime soon. FL

Beautiful resort, excellent facilites, Luke on Reception was extremely helpful. Useful to have free half hour internet access daily from dedicated guest computer\printer. Lovely Spa treatments. Only 30 minutes leisurely drive from Ballina airport. Will definitely revisit this hotel.

The setting amongst the lush,

The setting amongst the lush, peaceful hinterland was just perfect. We arrived at the Byron very tired after a long journey driving from Sydney and were greeted by friendly staff. We had booked and paid for a Deluxe Spa Suite a month before and were disappointed we were given a 'standard' room instead. We were even more annoyed that we were not advised of this by the hotel when we checked in and only discovered this the following day when I noticed we didn't have a spa! I contacted reservations and they confirmed we had been given the standard (known as the Superior room) as the resort was fully booked. They offered to include breakfast which we accepted. Pros: Modern, spacious rooms. Great restaurant and pool area. Cons: Dryer in the room didn't dry the clothes!

We really enjoyed our stay.The

We really enjoyed our stay. The food in the restaurant was great, massage was fantastic. We had a problem with something we washed in their washing machine that came out with terrible marks. They gave us a voucher to use in the gift shop which helped us feel better about the loss of the item.We thought that was a great way to deal with the problem.Very relaxing time.Would return.
