Very good value for money. Small
Very good value for money. Small but very neat rooms. Staff were confused about parking arrangements and charges when we checked out - but other than that very helpful.Great location - very central.

This was not 5 star bur clean
This was not 5 star bur clean and comfortable, just across the road from paddys market where you can get just about anything you ned. We would happily go back there. Air conditioning would have been welcome/

Aarons Hotel
Well, the hotel is a great deal for you buck. We were on a budget and the hotel was definitely worth the money. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful, and it was in an ideal location. Only issue was the noisy trash trucks in the morning.

GREAT SERVICE AS EVERY MEMBER OF STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL. GREAT LOCATION AS EVERYTHING IS WALKING DISTANCE - THAT'S LOTS OF SAVINGS FOR TAXI. JUST ABOUT 5 STRIDES AWAY IS PADDY'S MARKET WHERE YOU CAN CHEAP SHOPPING. THERE'S EVEN ALL-DAY PASS FOR 17AUD FOR SUBURB SHOPPING. GREAT VALUE AS THIS IS THE LOWEST NON-BACKPACKERS HOTEL ON THIS WEBSITE. THE ONLY SETBACK IS THAT ROOMS ARE NOT SOUNDPROOF AS WE HEARD THE NIGHTLY SQUABBLE & BICKERINGS OF AN AUSSIE COUPLE NEXT DOOR. I ALSO SUGGEST THAT THEY OFFER BUFFET MEALS AT AFFORDABLE PRICES.

AT THE FOOD COURT OF PADDY'S LOCATED AT THE 3RD FLOOR YOU CAN BUY FRIED/PLAIN RICE WITH A CHOICE OF 3 VIANDS AT 8.30AUD ONLY AND THIS COULD BE GOOD FOR 2-4 PERSONS DEPENDING ONE'S APPETITE. ALSO AT ABOUT 5PM VENDORS SELL FRUITS AT 1AUD PER PIECE/KILO IF THEY FEEL THAT THEIR FRUITS WOULD BE OVERRIPED THE NEXT DAY JUST LIKE THE CUSTARD APPLE THAT I BOUGHT AT 1AUD PER KILO WHICH ORIGINALLY SOLD AT 4.50AUD PER KILO AT 8AM THAT SAME DAY.

Close to transportation
The Aaron Hotel was a two star based on american standards. The rooms are clean but dated. Located within Chinatown and within a couple blocks to all mass transit (bus, monorail, train) options.

Die Lage des Hotels ist genial, sehr nahe der Georg-Street und Darling Harbour. Die Zimmer sind nicht mehr die Neusten, aber im guten Zustand. Das Badezimmer war sehr klein, aber sauber.

Das Aronshotel hatte in
Pro: Das Aronshotel hatte in einem Doppelzimmer eine gute Ausstattung wie z.b.: Großes gemütliches Bett, LCD TV, Wasserkocher und Co. Lage im Chinaviertel, 10 gehminuten zum Darling Harbour! Kontra: Bad war unrenoviert (wirklich alt) Fenster waren undicht (bzw. auch schlicht Alt), dadurch war es ständig kühl im Raum (Reisten im Winter Australiens). Außerdem hörte man die ganze Zeit den Lüfter/Klimaanlage des gegenüberliegenden Gebäutes, was besonders Nachts störend war. Da habe ich selbst bei Hostels schon bessere Erfahrungen gemacht. Fazit: Hotel ok, aber für den Preis hätte man besseres erwarten können...
