This place is a little gem. Remember,
This place is a little gem. Remember, it's budget accommodation. So adjust your expectations! Yes, it's a small room but if you are just looking for a place to rest your head for the night and don't mind it being a bit cramp etc. then this place works. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Felt safe and secure. A bit of noise but not too bad. We were there for the rugby then on to the the FIFA Soccer viewing site at Darling Harbour. Great location. Parking is a block away and works on a 24 hour basis. So if you check in say, 3:30pm then you can check out the next morning, leave your car where it is, go for lunch and then be gone by 3:30pm that day.

Service is friendly and cheerful;
Service is friendly and cheerful; common areas of the hotel are clean; rooms are functional and clean; location is great (near Central station; in Chinatown); price is great. This is probably not the hotel to choose if you are looking for a luxury, pampered stay of the kind where you don't want to leave your room because it is so luxurious. On the other hand, if you want somewhere to sleep in Sydney that is clean, friendly, comfortable, well situated for transport, in an interesting area, and at a good price, then I would recommend Aarons. Another plus is that you can open the windows. I liked the ability to open windows for a little fresh air, and the ceiling fans, rather than being stuck in a sealed airconditioned room (though the do also have airconditioners). Opening the windows comes at a price - some traffic noise, and the sound of everyone else's airconditioning), but I thought it was worth it.

Very good Budget accommodation.
Very good Budget accommodation. Had a nice and comfortable 3 night stay in may 2010. Daily room service and decent rooms. But very limited facilities. good location near Sydney central and darling harbor.

recently we have been staying
recently we have been staying in many hotels around sydney and newcastle area and i when we turned up at aarons hotel i was completely impressed... the value for money was etremly high and the service of the desk staff was very high with friendly dispostions that made us smile. the placement of the venue was great- close to everything and the rooms were very comfortable.. room service was thoughtful and respectful and now, aarons hotel is first on my list for recomendations... truely a wonderful establishment.

My partner and I found the Aarons
My partner and I found the Aarons hotel to be clean and tidy and the service was friendly and efficient. The hotel room was old but in good condition, the decor was pleasant and modern, the beds were comfortable, the shower and toilets were clean and worked perfectly. There was plenty of warm water for showers. The hotel was nicely located in China town opposite paddy's market. There were plenty of restaurants nearby and it wasn't too far to walk to entertainment venues. We had a pleasant stay and would stay there again.
