The hotel reception was efficient
The hotel reception was efficient and helpful. The first room smelt smoky and had one king bed despite having asked for a twin room. Room we were moved to was very quiet, clean but dated. Bed comfortable, TV antiquated and no remote control or kettle in room but these were supplied promptly. We just needed a place to sleep one night so we were happy enough. Restaurant was not open sunday for breakfast which might have been inconvenient if we had wanted breakfast. I guess for the rate we paid it was OK.

The hotel was all we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The only thing I found as with a lot of hotels - you couldn't open a window and had to rely on the aircon which was a bit loud. Otherwise it was fine.

Our room was very clean. well
Our room was very clean. well appointed and quiet. It was nice to have a bath too. Our only complaint was that we had twin beds instead of a double or queen. It was also good to have undercover of street parking.

I stayed on a Saturday. The hotel
I stayed on a Saturday. The hotel bar and restaurant were closed all day, no meals were available. The nearest restaurants were some distance away. Having no car it was very inconvenient to go for food and drinks. I will not be staying here again.

No newspaper provided as indicated in my booking. No staff in front desk, need to wait 10 min. No restaurant open for breakfast. No bar. Will not go back

It was a shame that the Hotel
It was a shame that the Hotel was in a state of disrepair, it had the potential for so much more. Getting a bit tattered and frayed around the edges, leaky taps, stained carpets, cigarette burns on the furniture and off milk in the fridge. Seriously lacking care and attention to detail and I could have lived without the cleaner coming in early on Sunday morning when I was half dressed. One stay was enough for a life time.
