In the Heart of Sydney
The hotel room is quite clean, apart from a little bit of noise from the constrution site next to the Hotel during the day. Location is the best, with easy access to restarunts and shopping centers everywhere. There are buses at the door and a short walk to the Sydney Town Hall train station and a monorail near the Hotel. There is a free Sydney bus ( No.555 )going around the City,Harbour Ferrys, the Opera House etc.I think this is a good value for the price to stay in the heart of Sydney.

The hotel is old - obviously -
The hotel is old - obviously - but tastefully decorated. Room was cleaned daily and towels etc changed. Overall service was good only drawback was a VERY noisy airconditioning unit from the rooftop of the synagogue opposite. It operated 24/7 and the bathroom window of the room could not be closed.

Linked to the Masonic Club, this
Linked to the Masonic Club, this building is just like staying at any of the lovely, long established clubs in Sydney such as The Australian Club, Union Club etc. yet is actually a hotel. An older building, but we had all we needed and enjoyed the ambiance. Well priced and good food available at a reasonable cost.

NIce stay at the butic hotel
The hotel is very well located - right in the city centre. Very close to Sydney Tower, Australian museum, Botanic garden and other attractions, so we didn't need to take public transport or taxi. We walked to the Rocks on one side and to the Harbour and China Town on the the other end. The interior is not fancy but well decorated and you can feel the time. The rooms are spacious, although the toilet/ bathroom is small. We've had good impression in general (except some noise from the near construction site early morning).

Best possible location in the
Best possible location in the heart of Sydney. Unfortunately it is also located next to a construction zone. We had a room facing the front of the hotel and so had the added noise of an opposit building exhaust fans plus the traffic noise that never stops!

The hotel was very well located
The hotel was very well located and well priced. The only issue was a building site next door. Unfortunately workers started at about 6.30am. Despite this minor problem, I would stay there again. Staff were very helpful in soling any issues I had.
