The Castlereagh hotel was clean
The Castlereagh hotel was clean and tidy though the rooms are very tiny it had everything you needed the staff are excellent and helped with anything we needed

Linked to the Masonic Club, this
Linked to the Masonic Club, this building is just like staying at any of the lovely, long established clubs in Sydney such as The Australian Club, Union Club etc. yet is actually a hotel. An older building, but we had all we needed and enjoyed the ambiance. Well priced and good food available at a reasonable cost.

The hotel was very well located
The hotel was very well located and well priced. The only issue was a building site next door. Unfortunately workers started at about 6.30am. Despite this minor problem, I would stay there again. Staff were very helpful in soling any issues I had.

A delightful old fashioned hotel,
A delightful old fashioned hotel, well located in the centre of the city, close to rail transport. With a 1928 opening date, the lounge, dining rooms & reception all take you back to a long gone era with magnificent high ceilings, ornate cornices and furniture of that time. The hotel building also houses the Masonic Lodge & information on the Masons can be found throughout the hotel. The bedrooms are very small & in the case of our room, needing some maintenance on the bathroom fittings. However, for the price and the location, it was quite adequate. The staff, while not necessarily of the same vintage as the hotel, were mature – and excelled in their customer service & friendliness. A good experience & frankly, a surprising one, for a hotel chosen purely on price & location.

This hotel has 'classic charm'
This hotel has 'classic charm' in abundance! I wouldn't have been at all surprised to have encountered Miss Marple or Hercule Poirot at breakfast - a peaceful and relaxing haven for the more senior guest. I will choose another hotel on my next visit to Sydney but would have no hesitation recommending this fine establishment to more venerable members of our community! :-)

Castlereagh Boutique Hotel Sydney
Castlereagh Boutique Hotel Sydney is located at the heart of Sydney. All amenities and attracktions are near-by and walkable distance. Stuff were very helpful and supportive. Continental breakfast is good. Facilities were excellent. Only point to be noted, I believe is the size of the room is small for a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Ohterwise it is the best place to live.
