It was in a great position. Easy
It was in a great position. Easy to catch the train, get a bus or taxi wherever you needed to go. The actual room was very old and small for the amount of money that was paid.

The location is very good and
The location is very good and there are a lot of restaurants nearby so food is not much of a problem. Woolworths is just 50 mts. away and we got a room with a pantry so what we did was to buy food outside and eat inside the hotel. The nearest train station is Kings Cross. Better take the taxi for the airport transfer.

It is a nice and clean hotel.
It is a nice and clean hotel. The interior is a bit dated and nearby Kingcross. Other than that, everything is fine.

We found this to be a very average
We found this to be a very average hotel but we booked it because it was on the least expensive list of hotels in Sydney. The room was very basic and small but very clean. However, upon leaving we noticed a huge cockroach in the foyer which was off putting. I would not choose this hotel if we ever returned to Sydney.

A 3 star hotel within easy walking
A 3 star hotel within easy walking distance of Kings Cross, train station, buses with pharmacy & supermarket directly opposite, the de Vere does not pretend to be anything more than what it is: a 3 star hotel with basic amenities and a top floor breakfast area. Room was surprising clean & quiet given the full hourse.
