Four Points By Sheraton Darling Harbour Sydney

We had a booking for a twin room and were initially given a king room. I asked to have it changed, which they did. This was the only downside of the visit. All the staff were excellent. The rooms are fairly ordinary but sufficient. Food is very good. We had room service one night for dinner. The food was excellant and there was a lot of it.

Great location, fantastic view from the ceiling to floor window. Excellent customer service from all staff. Great seafood buffet. Beds very comfortable & rooms well equiped. Would have loved bathrobes though. Only small negative was the noise from (other rooms) showers throughout the night, sounded as if it was in our bathroom.

Sumptuous and clean,with great views, and close to cruise terminal, within walking distance. In house restaurant way too expensive!

Perfect location, close to the restaurants and shops in Darling Harbour and close to the city as well. We received an upgrade with view over Darling Harbour. Wonderful hotel, would stay there again!

The staff at The Hotel were excellent. They are very efficient and friendly. The rooms are very clean and tidy. We walked everywhere and did not require transport. Would highly recommend.

I spent three night here and each was enjoyable. The people at the reception desk, the concierge and restaurant staff were excellent. Can't say much more than that!!

Nice room, well appointed although a little on the small side. Bathroom too is small and tight if 2 people are trying to get ready at once. Breakfast buffet was very good - one of the better ones I have experienced! We also decided to try the seafood buffet for dinner. It was great and particuarly good value given the special price for guests! Location between Darling Harbour and the CBD shops was also good.

I went with my partner and we stayed for 3 nights. Staff were very friendly and we had a great view from our room of the harbour. The only down side was the toilet randomly starting running at times which was abit frustrating. But all in all we had a great stay!

Remember that Australia's seasons are opposite of the northern hemisphere so we left summer behind and landed in Sydney's winter season: 58 deg. with 15 mph wind with some rain and some sun. Dress accordingly. Summer is hot and humid. Awesome thunderstorms! Our plane landed at 6:15 AM after a 14hr. flight and I am sure that because of the off-season arrival that's what allowed the hotel to be able to give us our room immediately at 7:30 AM. So very helpful. We stayed 6 nights. This hotel has a central location and is backed up to Darling Harbour so we paid a little extra to view the boats and water from the 14th floor. Beautiful! Understand that Darling Harbour is not Sydney Harbour with the Opera House and the famous Sydney Bridge but all that is just minutes away by cab. This harbor has tons of shops, restaurants, dept. stores and a marine museum. We needed a 5 star restaurant with a view to host a very special wedding dinner and our concierge's arrangement was perfect. On other nights we ate at the Opera House before attending an opera and went on a dinner harbour cruise. The room wasn't dramatic unto itself but it offered true value especially considering it's prime location and view. It was very clean. All the staff was very helpful and professional. We never ate in the hotel. The one restaurant was all about sea food and very high prices. I wanted to eat there for convience but after reviewing the menu twice it just wasn't for us. There are many choices within walking distance. It was fun to explore the neighborhood. I would definitely stay in this hotel again but I do suspect that our positive experience may have been helped along by the off season visit.
