Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Room was clean, quiet, and well appointed for the price. A complementary bottle of bubbly was a great start to our 3 night stay.

Super location
The location is steps away from Darling Harbour and within walking distance of so many other tourist sights - we even walked to the Sydney Bridge and Opera House. The front desk and concierge staff were always helpful and friendly. The gym has plenty of cardio machines and weights and was never that crowded. The breakfast buffet was excellent - a little pricey, but so were all the other nearby options. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. The free wi-fi in the lobby was such a nice bonus!

Worth paying the extra for water-view
Worth paying the extra for water-view room. Good sized room with large comfortable bed, large TV, plenty of hanging space, but the bathroom is small and rather dated, with shower over bath, and only just adequate bench space for two people. Good lighting though, and lighted magnifying make-up mirror. Score points for this, and the arm-chair to comfortably sit and admire the splendid view out the huge window (in the room, not the bathroom!). Good location within easy walking distance of CBD shopping, ferries and train stations, with loads of restaurants and cafes nearby. I would choose this hotel over a similarly priced CBD property with no views - good value for the money. We didn't use the restaurants or any of the other facilities, so I cannot comment on them.

Location was great for what I
Location was great for what I wanted. Got home late and just wanted to chill out and watch TV for a while only to find the remote did not work propery and could only get one chanel, then could not turn the TV off so managed to get it into pc mode and leave the screen on all night. Breakfast buffet was average, eggs and beans were cold, pancakes were dry. Would not stay here again.

Good value through Hotel Club,
Good value through Hotel Club, good location, King size bed, full sized bath. Have stayed several times before and will stay again. Decent sized room with a functional office desk and powerboard. Sevice is really good as well.

As a Starwood preferred Guest
As a Starwood preferred Guest I am always aware of the standard of the hotels in the chain and in this case I was not disappointed. The single nights saty in this hotel was great and we will be returning in June for another stay.

Very well located, close to business
Very well located, close to business as well as shopping. Circular Quay is only 20 mins walk. Typical business hotel, but we got a good deal over the Easter weekend when we were visiting for a holiday. Internet in the rooms need to be paid for but there is free wi-fi in the hotel lobby.
