I got lost in Darling Harbour
I got lost in Darling Harbour and climbed through car parks and stairs with 2 grand children to find the Novotel. Was greeted by the Bell section who cheered me up and made me laugh. Very efficient booking desk who greeted the kids. Very clean room and comfortable beds. There is something for everyone for breakfast hard to fault. Would definately recommend to anyone. Also had good bathroom products. Kids want to return Thankyou

roomservice food charges where a bit unnerving to say the least f.exs: 300gr steak was on a $40.00 price just to mention a price pasta and asst. salads depending up to 23% less this price and we had mcdonalds for breakfast thank you very much and saved $25.00 apart from that very nice bu t do bring your wallet as it is needed

Service and cleanliness were great,
Service and cleanliness were great, but the price we paid for 'executive view rooms' was a little ripped off considering the beds are only double in size and not queen as we expected.

Would Not Stay There Again!
Our trip was a mix of business and pleasure. Although the Novotel was an excellent location for us to explore Sydney, the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. The friendliest staff member we came across in six days was the bell hop. No one at the check-in desk ever smiled or asked us how we were. The restaurant service was the poorest we'd ever experienced, from the time we waited to be served to the cold food that arrived at our table. After leaving our room one day, we came back to retrieve our camera, only to find the chamber maid sitting at our room desk having a cup of coffee with her feet up on the table, chatting with aother chamber maid. Nice. I honestly think the Novotel at Darling Harbour rests on its laurels because of its location, so it doesn't go the extra mile to make its guests feel welcomed.

Short walk from hotel
The internet was a whopping $30 a day in the room. Walk across the bridge walk to the mall and head for the food court, where wi-fi was free.

Stayed for a night in exec harbour
Stayed for a night in exec harbour view room. For the price, we didnt have a queen bed and it wasnt very spacious at all. Was ok

Great location, slow staff
The hotel was nice but the staff was not very efficient. They did not have enough people at the front desk for check in (only one person was helping people while one other was on the computer and another on the phone). I ended up waiting 20 minutes just to check in standing at the desk. Also, there phone line takes forever to get through to ask any questions. However; despite those issues, the hotel was very nice. My room was large and clean. The location couldn't be better. You are connected to the harbourside mall on Darling Harbour. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness and location.

the pool is a joke, very small.
the pool is a joke, very small. the room is abit old. the bed is old n noisy n not comfortable. location is good as for the price that u pay. wounldnt wanna stay there again.
