The staff at the Swissotel were

The staff at the Swissotel were exceptional, the location was perfect, I would recommend this hotel to everyone wanting to stay in Sydney. Our room was large althought the view (we were facing east towards the Sydney Tower), was probably a bit of a let down, I would not change my overall opionion of our stay.

You cannot beat the location of

You cannot beat the location of this hotel for being in the middle of everything Sydney. At the same time it is like a sanctuary to come home to at the end of a long day. The staff are soooooo friendly and helpful - really well trained in customer service. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The lobby bar is also a great place to meet up with friends!

We stayed at this hotel for 3

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and the first room we looked at did not have a great view but after enquiring about another room the staff went out of their way to help us and we ended up with a nice view. The room 1918 is one we would stay in again, the staff were very helpful and we would stay at this hotel again next time we visit Sydney Thank you for a great stay need more time next time.

Great stay at Swissotel - the

Great stay at Swissotel - the room was nice & clean - very good room service daily - location was central to everything - especially the shopping! Pricing was a bit high for room dining & in the restaurant & I wasn't too fussed on the concierge helping us out on things to do & see in Sydney. Other than that GREAT STAY!

Great location in centre of CBD

Great location in centre of CBD and easy walking distance to everything (Darling Harbour, etc). Room nice after we go it (was promised room at 2pm but when we returned to hotel at 4pm they had given it to someone else). Note, with parking you have to pay for the valet service or walk 10 minutes to park off site, 3 streets away. This was not explained when we booked.

Brilliant location - 2 minute

Brilliant location - 2 minute walk to Pitt St Mall, 1 minute to George St. The Hotel foyer is massive with a bar and restaurant on the same level. The room I was in overlooked the pool (well to the side of it anyway) and parts of the city. The size of the room was good with two double beds, desk and a couple of chairs by the window, with a table. Staff were friendly & attentive when required. The down side was ordering room service breakfast & having to explain the breakfast I was ordering over & over again. The person taking the order could not understand me & I had to keep referring them to the menu - apparently had never heard of maple syrup or hash browns, despite being right there on the menu. It took 40 mins to deliver a very over priced & average breakfast. Dry bacon, thin & overcooked waffles, eggs on toast were ok but paying $75 for waffles, eggs on toast, hash browns & two coffees was ridiculous. Will go back there but will skip the breakfast.
