Wow! What a Combo!
Location, views, comfort and kindness! It doesn't get any better than this! We were at the Sebel Pier One for four nights and it was heavenly! This hotel is literally ON the water just under the Harbor Bridge around a curve from the Circular Quay! We were there during Vivid and our location was perfect for taking in the evening light shows all around the Quay and immediate surroundings. However, given the comfort of our suite and the views directly out of our window, we could have been very happy even if we had never left the hotel. the staff was consistently friendly and helpful, from the desk clerks to the consierge to the maintenance staff. We would go back again in a minute!

The food was delicious! it was a bit pricey but not different than other places in the area. Be sure to have to tomato entree. It is something special! We also found a nice little grocery store just a bit down Hickson street that made delicious breakfast sandwiches so we made that a morning outing and saved some money.

Nice Location
If you are looking for fun but also a quiet night's rest this is the place for you. Its located right at the Bridge base and a short 10 min walk to the harbor (harbor tours, souvenir shops, train station) and the Opera House. Its maybe a 5 minute cab ride to Darling Harbor so it close but not too close to some great night life areas. Also if you are interested in downtown shopping and the weekend street vendor markets this is a good spot.

Lovely hotel in great location
We throughly enjoyed our time at this lovely hotel. Reception and concierge staff were excellent and most understanding when we needed to extend our stay due to airline disruptions. They even extended a 20% discount to guests in the same situation. The location was perfect - easy walk to rocks area and circular quay area. Best rooms face the harbor and are towards front of hotel. Great views although a second floor room would have provided uninterrupted views and a small outdoor balcony area. We would not hesitate to stay here again on next trip to Sydney! Only disappointing feature was limited and unimaginative dinner menu in restaurant - too bad - view would have been wonderful!

The hotel is conveniently located
The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet part of The Rocks area in Sydney. Right on the water with fine views of the harbour. The room spacious pleasantly appointed. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast by the sea a good experience to start the day. I'd be happy to stay again.

Great Location and Service
Absolutely a "best" location for a tourist or business traveler. On the Harbor setting within easy walking to the "Rocks" and all central transportation - land and water. Almost a boutique feel with a small lobby and bar/restaurant with fantastic water views. Rooms were small for two twin beds and noisy. The toilets flushed with a frightening roar, which means you can hear all nearby rooms plumbing at work. That aside, we would come back, especially at the great rates we received.

This is an excellent hotel in
This is an excellent hotel in a great location. Close to the Rocks area. Some fantastic restaurants. We had 3 nights there and loved it. The outside area is great for enjoying drinks or brekkie. Gorgeous view of the Opera House just around the corners. Concierge very helpful. Housekeeping staff were a little annoying. We had asked for a late check out and when we heard the first knock by house keeping we told them we'd be checked out by 12. After this we got another 3 knocks - a little annoying but that's all. the room service menu is okay but not great. My husband is gluten free so would have been nice to have some GF options. The in room internet connection is one of the best and very straightforward. Would recommend hotel and yes would stay there again.
