Dependable hotel in Sydney’s central business district
The Travelodge Wynyard Sydney is a comfortable hotel at the core of Sydney's central business district, so guests are able to walk to the nearby Opera House, an array of museums and Darling Harbour. The nearby Wynyard Railway Station provides transport to popular tourist attractions such as Bondi Beach. The hotel's Citrus Grove restaurant is a popular place to enjoy dining and the lounge is tastefully decorated with comfy large leather couches. Here, visitors surf the Internet (fees apply) while over in the lobby bar genuine Australian wine is available until late at night. A fitness center and free luggage storage complete the package.

Breakfast is just average, far
Breakfast is just average, far better value by going to a local coffee shop, dinner specials were all unavailable except two of the six. Lifts were slow and unreliable (passed our floor a number of times without stopping). But all that said it was somewhere to sleep at a reasonable price and close to transport.

Good hotel
Good decent hotel in a great location in the middle of Syndey CBD, very close to the train and tourist spots. Cheap for location & services. They even honored my early check in request!

Parking associated with Motel
Parking associated with Motel expensive for guests in comparison to other CBD motel parking availability. Room not large and bathroom is a tight fit. Check out time 11am this was good.

Super location for the price
This is a great location, within walking distance to most of the tourist areas. We walked to the Sidney Harbor, Opera House, China Town, Darling Harbor and more. This hotel is in the business district and everyone was bustling around. We felt very safe walking everywhere. The people-watching was wonderful!! The room itself was quite standard, but we didn't spend much time in the room. We were out and about.

Short walk from hotel
The food was quite expensive, but we were able to find specials on different days of the week (Monday early evening special Sheperd's pie at Lord Nelson's Brewery, Tuesday 2 for 1 steaks all day at the Argle Inn etc.)

Great location -- walking distance

The Travelodge Wynyard Sydney
The Travelodge Wynyard Sydney was a clean hotel. The location was good and the facilities at the hotel was good. There is a wash room with washing machine and tumble driers on the top floor which cost $2.00 each. Good if you are travelling around Australia. The room was well decorated and laid out with everything you would need for a stay here. Just be careful of the small one inch step into the bathroom/wc. You will catch you toes! Excellent location and close to all local tourist attractions. Had to pay $100 security bond on arrival which has to be on a credit card. Total nightmare getting this re-embursed, be warned! Staff very polite. I would stay here again. Overall 4/5

Its location alongside Wynyard
Its location alongside Wynyard Station and not far from Circular Quay makes this hotel a good starting point for sightseeing in Sydney and surrounds. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and the small bar off the foyer and cafe/dining room cater to the inner man at reasonable prices. All staff were professional and friendly. We stayed 5 nights, and would go back to this hotel.
