Disappointed all round unfortunately...

Disappointed all round unfortunately... pleasant staff but they were so so slow :(... hotel desperately needs a refurbishment. Dirty walls... battered rooms, poor presentation all round. Food in Curves restaurant terrible and we were so hungry we would have eaten anything... Noisy location. Leaking taps and burning smell coming from walls when you showered... a plus though was the water pressure... magic

The rooms are sapcious and very

The rooms are sapcious and very tidy. Staff at reception are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great with so many foods to choose from. The Vibe cafe is a great place to have a light meal or relax with a coffee. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the city centre.

Vibe Hotel, Sydney

We arrived before check in time, but were given our room immediately which was a great welcome as we arrived on an over night flight and were dirty and tired. The hotel is within walking distance to everything - museums, ferries, great restaurants, historical sites etc. It was easy to plan your day - museum in the morning - rest briefly at the hotel - ferry to the beach in the afternoon.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There were many fine restaurants within a five minute walk from the hotel. The hotel provided business cards with directions to about 20 of these.

The only good thing about this

The only good thing about this hotel was the location.The room was so tiny and with no bath/shower gel provided! Not really displaying 4 stars standard

Nice Hotel for Four

It is very hard to find a hotel in other countries that sleeps more than two. Vibe hotel offered a "quad" room which meant we didn't need to book two rooms for our stay in Sydney - yeah!

Great location

We used this hotel for its walkability to numerous attractions: Darling Harbour, Hyde Park, the Queen Victoria Building, and Chinatown. It worked out great for us. The internet fees were higher here than we encountered on the street though. Go somewhere else.
