While great lengths have been taken to ensure that this resort has minimal impact on its untouched surroundings, a deluxe spa room, a standard room or the intimacy of a campsite, all offer you sanctuary from the rugged desert night.
The day is far from over. The renowned Sounds of Firelight dinner lures you back out. A crackling fire, six delicious courses and flawless service, all set against a backdrop of a star-speckled night, wind down a typical day at Kings Canyon Resort.
Where to from here? The commanding view from a helicopter tour and the extensive Rim Walk demand another day at Kings Canyon. Because, little more than three hours from Ayers Rock Resort and Voyages Alice Springs this is no stopover. Its the Red Centres must-see destination.

- Standard Room offers one queen bed. The comfortable Standard Rooms are spacious and contain a separate ensuite bathroom with shower/bath. Interconnecting rooms are also available.
- Deluxe Spa Room
- Set in a prime location at the Resort and nestled in amongst a rugged bush setting, the Spa Rooms offer guests deluxe accommodation at Kings Canyon with a spacious spa bath and feature window providing scenic views and a relaxing atmosphere. Each Deluxe Spa Room also features a private balcony offering a magnificent outlook onto a rocky escarpment that is tastefully lit at night.

A $29 upgrade from a standard
A $29 upgrade from a standard room to a spa room was offered at checkin - well worth it. Location is fantastic and staff were all helpful.

Campers used the kitchen facilities
Campers used the kitchen facilities and fridge and keep doors open for late night get togethers. Otherwise - the resort is a perpect spot and the amenities ideal for travellers to stop and enjoy the surrounds.

We stayed in the budget rooms,
We stayed in the budget rooms, they are not great but a lot cheaper than reagular rooms - not for everyone - but if you need a budget (not cheap room) they are ok.

Si vous comptez dormir à proximité
Si vous comptez dormir à proximité de Kings Canyon, vous n'aurez pas le choix de l"hotel car il n'y a que le kings canyon resort dans les environs...Vous pourrez néanmoins choisir entre plusieurs formule d'hébérgement : camping, dortoir collectif, chambre double avec frigo et clim mais sanitaire en commun, chambre standard et chambre luxe avec baignoire à bulles. Ayant le monopole cette hotel ne présente pas vraiment un bon rapport qualité prix (125 dollars pour une chambre avec sanitaire en commun). Pour tout le reste c'est encore pire restaurant, essence , course ect...sont hors de prix et plus cher qu'à ayers rock par exemple. L'alimentation est vendue par la station service et il n'y a rien d'autre ! il vaut mieux le savoir . Si vous venez d'ayers rock faites le plein avant de partir. Sinon l'hotel est trés bien placé et est assez agréable pour ceux qui aime le calme (aucune animation à part le bar de l'hotel).
