Best thing about the apartments
Best thing about the apartments is the location - in the heart of the West End - and a short work away from the GOMA, SouthBank and the city centre (Queens Street). Apartments were comfortable and clean (need to bring your own laundry powder if you want to use the washing machine and dryer) - the balcony in my 2 room apartments overlooked the city skyline and was large enough to have a crowd join us. Eating breakfast at the outdoor setting was a pleasure. Had a good feel because of size - small home away from home despite some dated furniture. Friday and Saturday nights had some party noise but quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Coles supermarket 5 mins accross the road so everythign close by. Buses close by if needed. About 20-25 mins away from the airport. Stayed here because family lived close by but would use again just to get to the various markets.

Only real choice if you want to stay in Westend. Not a bad hotel, but expect that it is an apartment hotel so you don't get the hotel service, but expect to pay a 5* hotel rate.

Stayed at 2 bedroom, daily serviced
Stayed at 2 bedroom, daily serviced apartment. Apt was clean, newly and beautifully refurbished, with 1 double bed in each bedroom. First bedroom was spacious, the second cramped. A balcony links the living room and both bedrooms. Walking distance to Coles Supermarket (closes at 5-6 p.m.), Central station and Southbank Parklands (1-2 bus stops away). Free parking at gated area in the basement. Polite and friendly counter staff at the lobby. Only inconvenience - you have to close the bedroom doors when you cook or use the dryer to prevent the fire alarm from accidentally setting off and risking you a fine. We got an excellent early bird price at [website]. We'd love to stay here again.
