The hotel has an excellent position
The hotel has an excellent position for those guests wanting to shop and be close to the Mall - couldn't get any closer! The deluxe queen room was a good size but rather shabby. The bed was comfortable. What apppeared to be an internet connectio was out of use. The safe in the wardrobe was out of order and appeared to have been so for some time. The bathroom was not up to standard. There was a problem with the toilet not flushing and the shower/bath drain semi blocked - both problems fixed by the time we left after 2 nights. The whole room needed a refurbish to match other hotels charging similar prices. The dining room was worth visiting - good meals although this time our choice was wrong for us.

Old and perhaps a little tired
Old and perhaps a little tired (bathroom plumbing etc) but exceptionally well situated on Queen Street Mall and 100 metres from the Treasury Casino. Staff very friendly and courteous.

It was great being in the centre
It was great being in the centre of the CBD, 1 block from the station & the South Bank. No traffic noise at all.
