Nice boutique hotel close to the city, can walk to major attractions in Brisbane city. Although the rooms are small, they are well-furnished, clean and modern. Beds are comfortable. Price is reasonable. I would stay there again.

Good accommodation close to the city CBD, but charging $24 bucks for parking a downer. Great Breakfast, best scrambled eggs I have had for a long time.

Rooms a little small, but fine
Rooms a little small, but fine if you just intend to use it for sleeping at night. Staff are nice and helpful. Rooms new, well maintained and clean. Quiet location but close enough to city. Will stay there again

CLEAN HOTEL. THE RESTAURANT IS
CLEAN HOTEL. THE RESTAURANT IS EXCELLENT FOR DINNER AND THE BREAKFAST SERVED WAS GREAT AND MORE THAN SUFFICIENT. ROOMS RATHER SPARSE BUT THE FOR THE PRICE IT WAS EXCELLENT IN THE CENTRE OF BRISBANE

My 4th stay at The Portal. A good business hotel. Small but comfortable and functional rooms. Good area of Brisbane. The dining room is good but a little over priced.

Nice hotel!!
Brand new hotel! Very clean, nice bar/restaurant...great chef who cooks an amazing breakfast. Rooms are a little small..but not as small as some I've been in...New York or Chicago. I would definitely stay at the hotel again!

A good hotel at a very reasonable
A good hotel at a very reasonable price (we had an opening special). The pluses - very quiet, close to the city, modern and clean, very helpful staff. The minuses - the room is tiny, the bar/restaurant was never open when we wanted it and the lighting in the bathroom was very dark. The hotel got the average rating on the facilities only because the bar was never open when we went there. So long as you expect the room to be small, you will be happy with your stay. As we were.
