Nice hotel
This hotel is in a nice location about two blocks from the train station and about six blocks from the gueen street mall, There are several places in the area to eat including at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were on the smaller sde but we only stayed two nights so it wasn't a problem. The airport shuttle will stop right at the front door($15pp one way). I would certainly stay at this hotel again

Excellent accommodations for the price.
We did not spend much time in the hotel but it was all we needed to rest after long and busy days of sightseeing. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location
Hotel is very close to Central Station and Queen Street Pedestrian Mall. Security is good. You need a room key to go up the elevator. Their only laundry service is pick-up and delivery, so we had to carry our laundry a mile to find a launderette to wash our clothes.

The Portal to Brisbane
Excellent location and great price. The hotel is easily within walking distance from Chinatown on one side and the downtown Brisbane area on the other side. And, if you're looking for some quiet, away from the bustling city, while it's still within walking distance of all of the attractions, its far enough away so that you don't have to hear all of the noise. Also, the interior is all new and modern. The rooms are crisp and clean. Though, if you wish for your linens to be cleaned daily, you will need to take them off the bed and leave them on the floor.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Consider the Ferris Wheel at night. We saw some fantastic views from there. For a picturesque walk or a local movie theater, consider taking a walk over the bridge to the IMAX theater. Also, try not to miss the market in the downtown for some great food and wine.

great location for the price
brand new hotel, super quiet rooms and comfortable beds, amazingly friendly staff and great restaurant. walk to everything in town, about 5 minute walk to central rail station, 15 minutes to hip fortitude valley or 15 minutes to river shopping district.

A Couple of Boomers
Sleek Boutique!
Small but absolutely spotless - state of the art class act renovations. Restaurant bar on site. A bit of a walk to get anywhere - but bus service is free and about a block away. No pool but we weren't there to swim. Would stay there again.

A short bus ride to Queensland Mall are two great open air restaurants right in the center of the walkway Jimmy's (sports bar). Try the Morten Bay Bugs entree and the Pig n'Whistle restaurant's meat pies. The entertainment - people watching and the food a little pricey - but excellent.
