Hilton Brisbane hotel

Overall very good, staff @ main door great. staff @ reception ok, great location in city centre good value for money

I was quite surprised to find this room at a rate less expensive than average hotels. I arrived very much before the check in time yet they were able to accomodate me which was especially nice after long, long hours of travelling. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and had all the amenities one would want or expect. The bed was fabulous--felt like I was being hugged all night!

Check in was more complex than it needed to be. They acknowledged the online booking but I still had to dig out the reference number since they had not received their money. Then they insisted to take extra 'cover' on my credit card. Bed was hard and worse still the pillows were rocks. Both my wife and I got a sore neck. This was solved the next night by ordering soft pillows which we should have done the first night - but you know what it's like when you finally get to bed and put your head down - last thing you feel like doing is calling housekeeping. Next morning for breakfast was also an 'event'. We were shown to a small table with a huge pillar next to it and when I asked if there was an alternative was told 'they're all booked, sorry' (yet the place was more than half empty, albeit Christmas morning). In fairness to the management, they did try to change us later since they knew we were upset but it was too late as we'd started eating. Anyway, they were polite and even waived the bill for that breakfast so a genuine attempt to rectify (in the usual Hotel way). On the positive side, we enjoyed an excellent dinner in the same restaurant next evening and the room is (as expected) a good quality room.

All good some minor renovations bit loud at times

This was the best experience I have had in a long time! It was like it used to be (20 years ago). From the minute you drive upto the hotel the friendliness and professionalism just stands out, they can not do enough for you. We only stayed one night but they made me feel like they didn't want you to go. OUTSTANDING!

A lovely hotel,which is what you expect from the hilton,great location the only complaint is $46 to park the car but everything else first class

We have stayed at the HILTON HOTEL BRISBANE on numerous occasions and have always found the service to be superb. It was our 37th wedding anniversary, and we really appreciated the bottle of champagne sent to our room by the journey ambassador. We are hoping to go to Venice for our 40th Wedding Anniversary in 2013 and are hoping there is a Hilton Hotel located there.

Staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful - absolutely nothing was a problem for them. A real pleaseure to stay!
