Very noisy hotel: able to hear neighbours! and tv does not have limited volume. Some renovations done, but still a bit dated. Location close to city.

This hotel was good value for money. The room was small but functional, and had a lovely view, although without a car it was quite a hike up the hill. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel is extremely nice, the staff are helpful and courteous one or two niggly points though. We were checked into a room already occupied, this was handly quickly however we got the impression that either it was a common occurence or not noteworthy enough for an apology. Secondly our key cards were cancelled every day and thus access to the room was denied necessitating a journey back to reception to reissue the cards. In my wife's case this happened twice in one day the expression was we were exited from the system. This didn't seem an noteworth issue either despite it also happening to two other guests whilst we were at the desk. Overall a good hotel and worth a visit just lift the game on the minor issues.

Stayed at the Grand Chancellor

Stayed at the Grand Chancellor on a weekend deal which was very good value for money. Breakfast and the cost of parking were both included in the cost - which was quite a saving. The room was satisfactory (though a little dark and there were no drawers). The breakfast was good and the staff both friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a climb up the hill from the CBD - but close to the botanical gardens and not far from Suncorp Stadium. Would certainly consider going back.

Centrally located hotel, close

Centrally located hotel, close to CBD, Valley & Paddington. Bathroom very small and water stains on the ceiling. Parking was a rip off in my opinion, $20 overnight. Staff were very friendly. Hotel room itself was very clean and tidy.

Week-end package was a good choice

Week-end package was a good choice as it included a comfortable room with king size bed, full buffet breakfast and paid parking. Our dinner main course of crispy skin duck breast in the restaurant was top class.
