- Our hotel rooms are serviced daily with all rooms having ensuite showers. Our resort offers Queen and single beds, individual air conditioning, ceiling fans and tea/coffee making facilities to ensure a comfortable stay.

- This room offers one Queen and one single bed.

- Our 2 bedroom apartments feature 2 bathrooms and include full kitchen and laundry facilities with balcony and are serviced every 4 days.

First time visitor to Australia
Friendly, clean, comfortable
It was a good value for 3 adults. The hotel gave us plenty of room. It was a 15-20 minute walk to town which was a negative but the accomadations were woth it. For the most part the staff was very helpful, especially the gal at the front desk who suggested a differnet reef trip than what I wanted to book. It was located in town rather than a 30 minute bus ride and a better value.

Room was basic but functional.
Room was basic but functional. Service was pretty good. Melanie was very helpful in arranging a day trip for us. The Balinese restaurant (Bay Leaf) was really good. Would highly recommend it. If i were returning to Cairns, i'd certainly consider staying here again. Thanks to all.

We were under the impression that
We were under the impression that the room we booked had cooking facilities we did not even have a microwave or a toaster or any utensils in the room when we asked the manager that our deal also included breakfast which we did not get he said the hotel club was falsely advertising this deal and to take this up with hotel-club. not only did we have no facilities but the hotel had a barbecue at a change of $15.00 each time you needed to use it. this we found redicules I think we should be comperencated in some way for the inconveince

Bay Village Tropical Retreat is
Bay Village Tropical Retreat is a lovely little oasis. It's located close to the airport and a stone throw away from the esplanade BUT approx. 15mins walk from town. While 1 staff member was particularly friendly and helpful, the staff member when we initally arrived was unfriendly (but not rude) and unhelpful when the room wasn't ready on arrival. The adjacent balinese restaurant is definitely worth eating at!
