Bohemia Resort Cairns

I stayed in the backpackers section of the hotel. Hotel was very affordable but lacked basic ammenities. No towels provided, no soap or anything elsein the rooms or bathrooms. Washers, dryers, and one iron and ironing bard are available at the hotel but will cost you $4 a load to wash and another $4 to dry. Lots of hidden charges. Airport Shuttle will cost you $10 per trip which is about the same as a taxi. WIFI access is available but will cost you over $5 for 75 min if you use it around the resort but climbs to over $5 for 30 min if you want to use it in your room. That is outrageous considering most places downtown offer FREE internet usage. Location is really bad, at least a 30 min walk from the hotel to downtown and there are no places to eat nearby. Overall, for $15 a night I wasnt expecting anything special and the hotel IS nicer then some Ive seen in the are, but for a few dollars more you can stay in a nicer place much closer to downtown.

Our flight came in at 2am, but they left us our key in a safe outside the lobby, so getting in wasn't a problem. It's a walk to get downtown, but it's nothing crazy, and the boardwalk extends that far north, so it's a quick walk to Cairns' fabulous Esplanade and then you can take that into the city. Both times we stayed here (weekday), we got our own room which is obviously a dorm at other times, so the rooms we've stayed in have had one or two extra beds, and were therefore huge! They seem to cater to backpackers, though, so we did have one issue with very loud guests coming into the hotel at 4am and laughing and yelling, but that comes with the territory...

Good hotel for an inexpensive option. Close to airport. Helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely staff, checked me in early and organised my airport shuttle. Pool was cool and clean. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest, but still tidy enough.

Very pleasant hotel. Extremely good value for money - dining facilities a bit limited. Good location only 5 monutes walk from the Esplanade.

I stayed here as a backpacker in The backpackers quarters. For a backpacking facility, the conditions are quite fair for the price. However, the showers at least should have a bench to place items such as clothes, showerbags etc... onto. In general, pleasant facilities and a good location not too far from city.

游泳池很棒，還有滑滑梯，小朋友很喜歡。廚房以及外面的用餐區面積也舒適，但因為綠化太好，房間乃至床上都有黃色的小螞蟻，但幸好不咬人。洗澡間較小，且地滑；公用的浴室反而更好用。屬於麻雀雖小，五臟俱全型房間。
