We stayed here over May Day weekend.
We stayed here over May Day weekend. Really impressed with the whole deal. Our room was upgraded which was a very pleasant surprise. Room was a very comfortable size for two, great sized balcony. Room was serviced daily which was really nice to come back to after our days out. Position perfect - walked everywhere we wanted to go except of course our Day Tours. Found most of reception staff very helpful and pleasant. We will definately put this Hotel on our We will be Back List. Our experience was great value for money.

We enjoyed a comfortable, hassle
We enjoyed a comfortable, hassle free stay at this hotel. Friendly & helpful staff made it a pleasure. It has all the facilities needed to enjoy a break in the lovely area of Cairns. The spa is highly recommended! You have to enjoy a treatment at Spa by the Sea, we LOVED it! Will definitely stay there again!!! Thank you :)

Great Hotel within walking distance
Great Hotel within walking distance to Cairns food and shopping district. We managed to get a fantastic price and were quite surprised with the value for money. The room had a great view and was a clean and tidy basic Hotel room. Would use again for short stay accomodation.

The room was very good - large
The room was very good - large and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. There was a mouldy smell, but I am not sure where that was coming from. The pool was lovely. The offering of gym facilities was deceiving, as you need to walk to Rydges Esplanade to use theirs - the gym facilities are not with the Tradewinds complex.

The room was very spacious,clean
The room was very spacious,clean and comfortable. We had 2 rooms booked. the 2nd room had a smell of smokers but as we wanted to be together we asked to have the room sprayed to freshen it up. The reception staff were up and spraying within 5 minutes and brought a room deodoriser up the following day to ensure things were good. Staff were very helpful. We ate at the breakfast restaurant and the dinner restaurant. Food and service were great.

good value for money.a bit of
good value for money.a bit of wear and tear in the bath tub but nothing that would bother us. Otherwise we got what we expected from that star rating. We would go again.

Good clean hotel right on the
Good clean hotel right on the water and close to the shops. Rooms were great and they allowed us an early checkin at not extra cost. Only gripe is that all the rooms don't have wireless. Will stay again next time I'm in Cairns.
