Great Hotel but disappointed that
Great Hotel but disappointed that I was not advised - at the time of the booking - that the hotel was undergoing a 420M refurbishment as a result of which many facilities - main dining room - were not available. Will stay again at the Marriott but hopefully next time if I need alate check out - 3 hours - I will not be quote $50!! What a pity that one of the best hotels I have stayed at has left a "sour" taste because of a couple of minor problems.

Once again an excellent stay at
Once again an excellent stay at this hotel. Although hotel is dated it has that old world charm and elegance. I was told that they are in the process of redecorating and was given an upgrade on my last night. The newly renovated rooms are fresh and crisp. The entire stay has meet with my very high standards and I will be back at least 2 more times this year. Well done Marriott your staff and hotel complimented your hotel brand.

awesome
the hotel have an amazing pool with salt water and 400 fishes that you can also see when snorking. The pool bar was not great it had very weird hr and the staff wasnt the best just in that bar. Restaurant pretty good a bit expensive and not a lot of choice for people who dont eat seafood. Great location walk distance to little shops but for nice restaurants boardbeach is super nice

Hotel room was very spacious and clean with great views of the ocean and lagoon pool. Japanese resturante and downstairs lounge were great atmosphere with good food and drinks, Seafood buffet was a tad disappointing with not a great selection of seafood. Activities desk assistant could have been more informative and friendly however the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall was a great stay and would definately stay there again in the future!

We had a great stay at the Marriott
We had a great stay at the Marriott Resort and Spa. Staff were very helpful, though we did have a bit of a queue for checking in and at breakfast as it was very busy at the weekend. Facilities were great and the lagoon and pool is a nice touch. We were going to go out for dinner, but the restaurant looked great so we stayed and had dinner in. Very reasonable prices and the buffet looked excellent, though we went for the wood fired pizza's. Room was pretty standard, but clean, though we knew this before we booked and really went for the pool and lagoon. Can't comment on the spa facilities as we didn't use them. On the whole a very enjoyable stay.

Don't pat 36dollar for the breakfast
Don't pat 36dollar for the breakfast should u book a room only package as a coffee club breakfast @9.90 can easily beat it by taste and value! Their double bed is not really that big, best for one adult or maximum together with a kid, never try it with two adult as it is not suitable! Lagoon swimming pool is great! Is not actually not walking distance to surfer paradise which I find quite a pity, it is really nice to stay close enough to all the restaurants and shops for tourists
