Villa San Michele is a small boutique complex, which embodies the friendly, welcoming nature of Australia's Far North Queensland. The Apartment provides Mediterranean style self-contained one & two bedroom apartments are set around a courtyard with two swimming pools, spa, bbq & tropical gardens which offer all that is required for a relaxing holiday. Villa San Michele is centrally located on Macrossan Street, right in the heart of Port Douglas. It is in the perfect position from where guests can enjoy the best of both worlds the cosmopolitan charm of the apartment boutique shops, cafes and restaurants, combined with the relaxed and almost secretive location all within a five minutes walk to magical Four Mile Beach and Marina. There are a myriad of cafes and restaurants right on the property's doorstep, however for those not wanting to go too far, there are two onsite restaurants which are privately operated (no charge back facilities). From Villa San Michele you can explore all that this beautiful region has to offer. All tours to the Great Barrier Reef and Cape Tribulation/Daintree pick up and drop off from our doorstep. Let the friendly staff at reception help the guests pick the right trip for the guests.

A little more attention to maintenance
A little more attention to maintenance would benefit the motel eg a few dead pot plants on my balcony and a loose tap in the bathroom. However when these items were pointed out to management swift action was taken. Would also recommend not to stay in the apartments directly above the restaurant as it was quite noisey when the restaurant was packing up after service eg doors banging, furniture being moved, bottles being thrown in the bin, the dishwasher operating etc. Overall still an enjoyable stay despite these issues.
