Good central location on Margaret
Good central location on Margaret Street, a few minutes drive from Grand Central Shopping Centre and Ruthven Street in the CBD. Rooms have been updated recently with new carpet, curtains, bedcovers and a large wall-mounted flat screen TV. Plenty of cupboard/bench space & there was a small dining table and chairs. Bathroom looked late 1970s in decor (tiles and vanity - needs an urgent update). My room (No. 24) on the ground floor was large, clean and opened onto a little deck area with table and chairs. This gave access to a small outdoor area/pool. This area was untidy and unswept - not very inviting. Room service main meals and breakfasts are available. My room service dinner took over 45 mins to arrive. Quite good standard of food, but expensive. Overall, a decent 3.5 star motel.
