Rydges South Park Adelaide is located in the perfect position for visitors on either business or leisure travel. Guests can take advantage of all this fabulous city has to offer, ranging from pristine beaches to world famous wine growing regions, such as the Clare and Barossa valleys. The hotel is situated next

Not a bad motel if you're looking
Not a bad motel if you're looking to be out of the city centre. Friendly helpful staff but daily housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Small fridge, inadequate for longer stays if you need cool storage.

Lovely room - comfortable and
Lovely room - comfortable and roomy. Bathroom fine - looking a little outdated. Nice bath however! Breakfast in room was a little odd - possibly a mix up over how many guests? But fixed promptly! Proximity to major city road made a bit of noise (1st floor room) - but not a huge concern on a Sunday morning. Good price deal ! Thanks

The staff are friendly. The room
The staff are friendly. The room was big enough, if a little dated. It was a little bit noisy on 6th floor due to main road and bar activity Friday & Saturday, but I slept OK. The pool is very small. Not a bad location - Nice views over the cemetary to beyond. Buses for City and Glenelg handy. Would probably go back if the price is right.

First time in Adelaide
Good place to stay
This hotel is fairly priced for its location. We don't mind walking, as it is most convenient to go around in Adelaide). It is a 30-minute walk from the convention center and you pass many restaurants on the way, which is useful in the evening when coming back. Most places to eat are 10 to 15 minutes away (by foot), and allows you to digest returning to your room. Parking is free, so when you want to take a ride to the nearby attractions, you don't break the bank for parking the car overnight. The rooms are okay. This hotel is not new, there are scratches here and there, but we wanted a clean and quiet place to sleep in, and this is what we got. The staff is friendly, but we didn't have anything extraordinary to ask them. We stayed there for 4 nights, and saved money by staying there instead of the pricier downtown hotels.

The hotel location (on West and South Terrace) makes it really easy to be on the main roads to get outside the city.

The hotel charged me for beverages
The hotel charged me for beverages that I did not have, ie the minibar. On discussing this with the hotel at a later date, the charges were reimbursed, however, should not have been charged in the first place.
