I went with my wife and another couple and we had an amazing stay. John at the front desk is a really nice guy and the overall service was flawless. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and the beds were so comfy. I can't fault the hotel and I would go as far as to say it was the best value hotel I have ever stayed in and I've been in plenty all over the world.

Lovely Staff and extremely helpful,
Lovely Staff and extremely helpful, Rooms very clean, only fault I could find was the doors to other rooms were very loud when guests closed them, Which was very annoying during the night while you are trying to sleep .....

An okay stay
Hotel was alright overall, but nothing special. For the price we paid I expected more. The washroom was poorly designed (weird toilet paper holder that frequently dropped rolls into the toilet, the shower dumped water all over the floor, there was no exhaust so the steam went all throughout the room). Someone nearby was smoking and our room stunk of cigarette smoke a few times throughout the stay. They did not have a secure place to store our luggage when we checked out (it was left in plain sight in the main lobby). When in the area, we did the Cascade Brewery tour, the Mt. Wellington tour, and played a lot of pool at the Strangers Welcome hotel.

Room was small but handy to everything, all in walking distance, clean, tidy, bar fridge and tea making facilities, towels changed daily if required, noise from the traffic lights were annoying but ok, people helpful and friendly, would stay again.

Modern rooms in a good location.
Modern rooms in a good location. Rooms are very small but ok for short stay. Quite noisy at night due to noise from traffic and traffic signals - located on a busy road.

Convenient location, very close to Salamanca Square and Constitution Dock. Room fairly noisy though, even on the 9th floor. Only had a venetian blind not a curtain so room was fairly light when the sun rose.

The hotel was very central to
The hotel was very central to the shopping area and the market. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. With the location on the corner of Harrington and Macquarie st, it was noisy! The windows should be double glazzed, or something as we could hear hoons driving past or racing from the lights, also the buzzing sound from pedestrian crossing was loud (we had corner room on 4th floor). Parking is also a problem as hotel has only about 20 parking spots for whole hotel.

Great location and well priced.
Great location and well priced. Car parking can be a problem not too many spaces and restaurant not always open.
