- Our Queen Suite is a spacious 43 square metres and contains a queen size bed adjacent to the open plan living and dining area, Tasmanian Artwork, beautiful Tasmanian Oak and leather furnishings, fully self contained kitchen, luxurious bathroom , 46 inch LED TV, personal computer, air conditioning and new release movies.

- Our King Suite is a spacious 43 square metres and contains a king size bed adjacent to the open plan living and dining area, beautiful Tasmanian Oak and leather furnishings, fully self contained kitchen, luxurious bathroom, 46inch LED TV, personal computer, air conditioning and new release movies. * If King is split into two long singles a $25 fee applies and 24 hr notice is required.

Great Location - Great staff - would stay here again - couldn't have been more helpful including an early check in - Very good breakfasts and so close to all you need - just around the corner is one of Aust's best wine bars - Grape and a super Deli - Wurst House where you can buy just about anything. The Fruit Market was also good, Salamanca Markets a stones throw away on Saturdays is a foodies delight - check out Matthew Evans Pork Rillettes for a great treat and the Rare Food Sausages also on his stand are some of the best in the world!!! Did we LOVE Hobart ?? - oh yes!!!!!

We really like the location and size of rooms of this well appointed hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Internet access was poor at the time of the visit. An upgrade of the Internet is being made ready for roll out. This is our second visit and will return when we travel to Hobart.

Excellent location and staff are
Excellent location and staff are very helpful. Hotel has gone through a major renovation and we were very pleased that the room came with a small kitchen with cooker and cooking utensils. However, we did not use them as the hotel and the surrounding area have very good restaurants. There is supermarket close by. All in all an excellent experience and stay.

We arrived at 11am and asked if
We arrived at 11am and asked if we could drop our luggage for a later check-in and not only were we givean a lovely welcome but were told our room was already available so we could check in early and leave our things there. The bar staff were did a fine job. We had walked too much during the day and decided to eat in the hotel rather than venture out, which proved to be a good choice with excellent service, food and wine. Recent refurbishment meant all was very clean and tidy, though this did mean a smell of fresh paint in the room (on the upside, we now know how the Queen thinks everywhere smells!). The location was perfect for the Salamanca market and an easy walk to the CBD and the waterfront attractions of Hobart. We will definitely stay at the Salamanca Inn another time.

Had a great stay. The staff were great and very friendly. The hotel is very handy to the markets and the waterfront, makes for a nice evening stroll and lots of restaurants nearby. Will definately stay again.
