Bkd this 2 BR apt which did not have heating working in the living area. Spent apt time in our bedrooms where there was some heat.Rang concierge who advised heating hadd not been working for a few days & waiting on a part for it to be repaired.No mention of this when I checked in at Somerset on the Pier.We should have been advised of this prior to going to room & alternatives provided. Given a small column heater & upright blow heater which short circuited the room so couldn't use that during our stay.Not offered any alternative accommodation or a discount.Told that there was no room service on Sun & that we were given additional linen as a result but none in apt.Only 1 bath towel each & only one bar of soap per bathroom. For $220 pn, I expected more.Gave the hotel this feedback in writing but have not heard from them which again is a disappointment as it shows poor customer service and no follow up of complaints.

Very good on all fronts - except maintenance. There were several relatively minor faults, which should not have occurred with a thorough and regular facilities inspection.

Very well located at end of Salamanca
Very well located at end of Salamanca place being the main restaurant district of Hobart. Apartments are modern and clean, but limited in number. The "kitchenette" in the studio apartment was really just a sink, kettle toaster and microwave - thus limiting any cooking to microwave meals only - and also didnt have a dishwasher. There was however a full size washing machine and dryer.

This is without doubt the BEST
This is without doubt the BEST location I have ever stayed at. From the time I slid the key in until I left was an experience that I would expect now from every site I visit. Words can not explain the immaculate presentation and the fantastic amenities. Comfortable is too short a word!!!! The location is THE BEST, nestled amongst Hobart's Salamanca district, it is worthy of 15/10 as a minimum. I am still flabbergasted after being home for 3 days. THANK YOU SOMERSET ON SALAMANCA. You made my Tasmanian experience worth experiencing. Oh yeah, Hobart is fantastic in a rustic way also!!!!

このホテルは、ホテル自体に人がいなかったので、歩いて１０分くらいのところに[Other hotel]があって、そこから人が来てcheｃk inしました。ホテルの２階に泊まったのですが、そこから見える景色が最高でした。 バルコニーがある部屋なので、日中はそこから海を眺めれるし、夜は夜景がキレイでした。感動的なひと時を過ごせれました。ホテルを出て坂を降りると、土曜日はSalamanca Marketや平日は観光地なので、観光客などたくさんいましたし、道沿いにはＣａｆｅやFruits Marketやお土産屋さんもあるので、買い物、食事に困る事はなかったです。Ｔａｋｅ Ａｗａｙしたものを、近くの芝生の上とかで食べたりすると何倍もホバートの夏を満喫した気分になれて幸せを感じました。 ただ、朝と夜は少し寒かったりしたのですが、日中すごく暑かったので、部屋のエアコンが故障していて、使えなかったです。バルコニーがあり、そこから小さなアリが入りこんだりしていて、ベットの上や部屋にアリが結構いました。 夜静かなので、すごく良い環境のホテルでした。ホテル内に人がいないのでＣｈｅｃｋ oｕｔとCheck inする時が面倒かと思いますが、すごいいい場所にあるので、ホバートに行った際には是非泊まってみて欲しいと思います。

No slippers in room. No services at all, I have not seen any services staff there. You have to check-in at Somerset on the Pier, then you have to go to Somerset on Salamanca by your own. When checking out, you have to call the extension 9 to report check out. No even one staff I have seen in this hotel. Apart from these, the location is good at the city center.
