Overlooking Bass Strait, set high in the Otways above the Great Ocean Road, Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant and Villas has become a Mecca for gourmet travellers. A personal approach to hospitality has made Chris's an icon of the Great Ocean Road and a passion for the food of Southern Europe combined with the freshest and purest produce has made our cuisine world famous. Our food is contemporary with a Southern European and Middle Eastern Influence. Fresh seafood is our specialty, along with a variety of Chris's most popular Greek dishes. In our cuisine, the emphasis is on simplicity and on showcasing the natural flavour of the ingredients. If we can't get it fresh it isn't on our menu.
Chris's Villas, just steps away from the restaurant, offer accommodation all year round and many diners choose to stay the night after enjoying a meal and a fine wine or two.
Chris's is located high above Skenes Creek and the villas are elevated, so the impact of the ocean views is stunning. Recently renovated, the villas are contemporary and well equipped.
All of our apartments are self-contained and contemporary, with modern fittings and floor-to-ceiling windows, a balcony and a dizzying sea view. A complimentary Continental breakfast is included in the tariff. This is served in Chris's Restaurant from the Melbourne Cup to Easter and is provided in your room out of season. This has proven to be a very popular feature for our guests.

King Studio (King Bed)
The contemporary and stylish King Studios have polished wooden floors and floor to ceiling windows, are fully self-contained, air conditioned and offer panoramic ocean views from Cape Patton to Apollo Bay. They sleep two in a King size bed. Outdoor occasional furniture and a balcony offers privacy in a peaceful bushland setting overlooking Bass Strait. This tariff includes a continental breakfast.
Queen Studio (Queen Bed)
Comfortably appointed, tastefully decorated, self-contained, air conditioned with panoramic ocean views. They are split level with floor to ceiling windows, a kitchenette, a large screen LCD TV and CD and DVD players The balcony overlooks Bass Strait from a peaceful bushland setting. The tariff includes a continental breakfast.
Queen Studio (King Bed)
Comfortably appointed, tastefully decorated, self-contained, air conditioned with panoramic ocean views overlooking Bass Strait from a peaceful bushland setting. The Studio is split level with the open living are and kitchenette toward the view, the King bed overlooking them from a mezzanine level and the en suite to the back. This Studio has floor to ceiling windows, a large screen LCD TV, CD and DVD players. The tariff is inclusive of a continental breakfast
Villa (Queen, Double)
Comfortably appointed, tastefully decorated, fully self-contained, air conditioned and offer panoramic ocean views. Sleeps four with a Queen bed in one room and a double bed in the other. The balcony overlooks Bass Strait from a peaceful bushland setting. The villas are split level with an open living, kitchen, dining area towards the view and the bedrooms and bathroom to the back. Each Villa has a large screen LCD TV, DVD and CD players and comfortable occasional furniture. The tariff includes a continental breakfast.
Villa (Queen, 2 Singles)
Comfortably appointed, tastefully decorated, fully self-contained, air conditioned and offer panoramic ocean views. Sleeps four with a Queen bed in one room and two singles in the other. The balcony overlooks Bass Strait from a peaceful bushland setting. The villas are split level with an open living, kitchen, dining area towards the view and the bedrooms and bathroom to the back. Each Villa has a large screen LCD TV, DVD and CD players and comfortable occasional furniture. The tariff includes a continental breakfast.

A Terrific Stop

Beautiful views of the Ocean, lovely spacious villas, very nice restaurant. Service was quite cordial and gracious. Traveling west from Melbourne, look for a sign about 6 km before Apollo Bay, its easy to miss.
