This is a classic motel. We paid for a superior room which was large and comfortable, although somewhat dated and tired. The walk downtown to the waterfront was about 10minutes, and less than that to restaurants etc.

Management staff were friendly,helpfull
Management staff were friendly,helpfull and warm. Breakfast in "Breakfast Room" was not only pleasing to the pallette but the manager was able to entertain and have all guests participating & engaging in informative debate on topic of day in local newspaper. We will definitely return.Thankyou

The hotel rooms need to be updated
The hotel rooms need to be updated - quite different to web photos and I believe price is too high for what you get. Breakfast room was great and continental breakfast choices quite good.

Very dirty, especially sofas and chairs. Constant reminders to clean up and be quiet were intrusive and unnecessary. Very Spartan breakfast. Wouldn't recommend it.

Not impressed with this hotel.
Not impressed with this hotel. Booked a supposedly "superior" room but it hadn't been refurbished in ages and the aircon/heater was as old as my grandmother. Staff were helpful in booking a taxi but otherwise rude. The price was ok but even at that medium price point you don't get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here again.
