We enjoyed staying at the Mercure
We enjoyed staying at the Mercure Hotel, staff were friendly and accommodating. We were in a family room which was quite spacious. The only negative would be that you have to pay $18 a day to park in the Hotel car park. One night we had to leave the car out in the street as the car park was full, despite this, we would stay again.

Very nice,centrally located hotel.Rooms nicely renovated and clean.The only comment I have against the hotel is the air conditioning didn't work very well.

Service was very good. Staff
Service was very good. Staff promptly assisted us when guests in the adjoining room continued to be noisy into the early hours of the morning. Lovely view of bay.

A clean tidy hotel, rooms of
A clean tidy hotel, rooms of good size. This hotel has some age but has been given a tasteful lift in decor. In the Original Room the TV didn't work this was unable to be fixed and a room shift was arranged smartly. Service from the staff was commendable.

Good location, abit old, good
Good location, abit old, good customer service. The receptionist lady helped me with web check in for my flight with no extra cost at all eventhough there is internet available for rent near the restaurant.

Only 20 minutes from Avalon airport.
Only 20 minutes from Avalon airport. Good location, walk to centre of town. Large newly renovated rooms. Ample free parking on street. Will stay there again when visiting family in geelong.

a very clean hotel with excellent staff. The room was of excellent standard. The restaurant was well staffed and the meal of top standard. I would highly recommend the Mercure Geelong to anyone seeking excellent accommodation at a very reasonable price.
