Near Lakes Entrance and Metung, Tambo Lodge is your holiday haven - six acres of delightful garden to shelter you from the hustle and bustle of the everyday world, and your choice of cottage or apartment-style accommodation. At Tambo Lodge Hotel offer you a variety of accommodation - all spacious, delightfully furnished and equipped with all your needs (including linen and towels). And the special touches come at no extra cost. The two and three bedroom 'stand alone' 3 and 1/2 star cottages are great for families who like lots of space and comfort. The three and a half star family apartments are perfect for up to four people (two separate bedrooms). The three and a half star studio apartments are fabulous for two people - easy style, comfortable living. You?re welcome to use the great bush kitchen too - a great place to get together with your family, or to meet new friends. The bush kitchen has barbecues and a wood heater and is fully equipped for all weather dining - and fun. (And three other barbecue areas on the property you can fill your days easily without even leaving the property: there's a swimming pool, spa, tennis court, billiard room and children's playground. Or just stroll through the gardens and listen to the birds. Tambo Lodge has a tennis court with free racquet/ball hire, games room with pool table and computer games for the children. Hotel also have Children?s playground, Outdoor swimming pool and spa, table tennis and free video hire.

- Tambo Lodge is located on the Melbourne side of Lakes Entrance about 8km from the town center at Kalimna West. Hotel is located on Robertsons Rd which is a service road, which runs parallel to the Princes Hwy. If driving from Melbourne (approx 4 hours drive), follow the Princes Hwy. When you get to Swan Reach you have 6km to go. Keep following the highway till you see a turnoff to Nungurner; continue down the highway another 300m and you will see a right hand turn lane. Turn here and Tambo Lodge will be directly in front of you.

Tambo Lodge was a nice place to
Tambo Lodge was a nice place to stay in. John was very friendly and informative. Especially in regards to recommending a very enjoyable cruise, which we would have been unaware of if he didn't mention it.
