The location is pretty good, just
The location is pretty good, just minutes away from Crown Casino and Southern Cross Station. It is less noisy than I imagined, though it is located on the busy Flinder Street. The facilities are ok, if you do not stay in the hotel all the time. Just the shower is extremely disappointing. The water comes out of the shower head is extremely small. There is a notice sticked on the shower screen, saying that this is an environment-friendly hotel. Maybe this is the way to save water. But, to be honest, I had been missing the shower back home everyday during my stay. Overall, I would give 3.8 points out of 5 to this hotel, and I do not think I will stay there again.

We really enjoyed staying at this
We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the staff were welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean and beds very comfy. The TVs were not flat screens, they were a tiny but dated, but still worked well and had cable channels. The only thing to be wary of is the food from room service. We ordered breakfast and although the staff were friendly and the service was quick the food was pretty bad...you would be better off going to a near by cafe (and there are plenty of amazing places in the nearby lanes). But all in all I would stay here again!!

Good location, in the CBD. Quite a long walk to centre for shopping but there are nearby trams if you don't feel like walking. We were on the 11th floor so it was quiet when the balcony door was shut. The staff that I dealt with were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size. The discounted price I got for the room was good value.

The room we were allocated was
The room we were allocated was on the second floor, right next to the carpark, therefore we could always hear people walking past. We were in the disabled room, even though there is no way the hotel was full, and whenever we showered, the bathroom floor was covered in water. We requested extra towels from reception, but these were taken and not replaced when the room was serviced. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, it seemed the drains needed cleaning. The pool area was in need of a clean, the gym was clean and well-kept.

We found Medina Northbank a great
We found Medina Northbank a great location to stay. Close to the casino, aquarium, and only a blocks walk from major train station. It would have been good to have block out curtains in the lounge room and the balcony tiles did need mopping but overall it was a great apartment. Also, the Cafe downstairs was excellent. We had room service and the food was delicious, huge servings too! Would definitely stay again.

Close to all amenities. Trams
Close to all amenities. Trams right outside the hotel which was very handy for this trip (Australian Open). Friendly staff. We stayed in the 1 bed apartment which was perfect for 2 people (any more than that would make it a little crowded). Had a large balcony. The bathroom was clean and modern. Would stay here again if the price was right.
