Great hotel in a great location
We were a little worried walking up to the Causeway 353 because it was down a little alley and not right on the main road. However, as soon we walked in, our room was ready early and the staff was so helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. The included continental breakfast was pretty good too. The next morning when we left the hotel, our little alleyway transformed into a bustling area that had a ton of cafes!! The location was central to all of the CBD too, would definitely stay again.

Our favorite tourist activity in Melbourne was the Colonial Tramcar restaurant. It was a little pricey but so worth it. The value is best during lunch. Great food, great service, great views of Melbourne including St. Kilda and all you can drink!

Clean but lacking soul
Great staff and very clean rooms. But the rooms are quite clinical and lack soul. Windows don't open and the benches are getting a little worn. Location is very central but the alley feels rather deserted at night - if you're a woman travelling alone and arriving late it could feel daunting. All in all - more than acceptable though. And the bed was super comfy!

Two Brits abroad
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Causeway 365 hotel, it is set centrally to Melbourne shopping and business areas. Staff were helpful and room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with refills available should you want any. Overall a pleasent short stay was had.

Convenient location in CBD. Found staff obliging. Up to our expectations. Included Continental breakfast a good start to the day. Cooked extras available at moderate cost. Value for money. Pillows losing their oomph.

Fantastic weekend getaway
My son enjoyed the weekend away he has never been before i go to melbourne once a year for a weekend of shopping and always stay at the causeway 353 and love it it is close to everything and trams are at your doorstep so to speak. I have stayed at other hotels but prefer causeway hotel stay are great and helpful and nothing is too much trouble great trip.

I stayed at this hotel with a friend in a twin room. We were very impressed with the location, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the provisions were plentiful including bottled water each day. The hotel was in a quiet area with restauraunts, shopping and transport close by. Would definitley stay here again when in melbourne.
